I ran across a new 16” stainless in 357 , for $750 today, and was wondering what they sell for in your neck of the woods?
Don’t know what real world prices are.

I have heard the exterior part of the magazine tube is screwed into the receiver, much like the Henry's are. For a heavy recoiling carbine that makes a lot of sense. I would like to see more of their carbines with that style of magazine tube.
Makes unloading a cinch, and do not have to cycle the cartridges thru the action

I can unload my leverguns by backing the rounds out thru the loading gate with the 45/70s. It should be do-able with 44s and maybe even with the 357s. Might need to use a dowel for the smaller caliber to depress the gate and allow the round to slip back onto it. I haven't tried with my 357 carbine. I unload my 12Ga mossberg by depressing the cartridge stops, shells back right out...

the traditional loading of leverguns allows topping off the magazine as you go, like a shotgun. some of the leverguns I've seen that load from the top, like the 39A, require some overhead clearance. hard to do if you are in a cowboy movie and hiding behind a log...

I would be happy with that if I could find one. I would prefer the stainless, but for that price difference would take one of those. No one around here has any

Olde Bear, there are lots of them on Armslist. Maybe you could buy one online and have it shipped to your local dealer? Springfield Missouri has
several dealers advertising them.

Thank you, will check them out. For some reason the dealers around here have none.

I paid $679 + tax for my 20" SS .357 bout six months ago at my local. Went in today and he just got in a SS .44 Mag. Same price. E. KY.
