I finished dumping them just yesterday. It was a long convoluted process getting all loose ends tied up but I did it and I'm glad.

Short version: BOA sucks.

Longer version: I was a high ranking NCO in our USAF Reserve avionics branch. Each of our troops had a BOA card for travel expenses.

OH. MY. This was in the early to mid 2000's and I still can't go into details of how bad it was dealing with BOA without resorting to profanity.

To be fair, some of the younger airmen using the card for less-than-correct expenses didn't help.

One thing I do not miss in my service years and had forgotten about it till this posting gave me flashbacks.

Yep, it's miscellaneous charges for this and fees for that. When I transferred most of the money in my checking account to my new bank, BOA charged me a $10 fee for not using their teller for the transfer.

Years back BofA was trying to tap the illegal immigrant market by allowing accounts without SSNs. Seems no one cared and BofA suffered little. Hope this next infraction will open the eyes of the American public.
