Answered prayers

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

Boys, this time last year Miss Kathy was in a bad way and had been at death’s door more than once. She needs a liver transplant and she was on the list.

I had to take charge of scheduling her morning meds and be sure to check her cognitive ability each morning. I learned a lot about myself and I was pleased to be able to do it.

Kathy’s numbers have been so good for so long now that last week the doctors took her off the transplant list.

We still need to watch her meds carefully and keep her there, and eventually she’ll need a new liver……but it will likely be a while.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.

Awesome.

When someone you love is in bad health it is scary

Part of what motivates my life is that sometimes I can manage to help them, thanks to God's help (or rather vice versa I suppose).

Jason, don’t let something like that hold you back.

God has been very good to us. That sunset photo was taken on our honeymoon which was delayed for three years. A little patience and we finally found the chance.

Great news!

As a recent recipient of prayers from this gang here, I'd say we have some MAGNUM prayers being sent up by this group. Powerful stuff!

Scott, it is simple. God made sure she married her angel. That's the kind of stuff He does. 8)

I’m certain that I’m no angel. But I am better than I used to be.

Good news. Now you both need to keep doing whatever it is that has been healing her liver. Continuing prayers, eating right, avoiding certain medications. By the way, why no picture with you two by that 1/4 size Eiffel tower that wears a Stetson?
