Boys, this time last year Miss Kathy was in a bad way and had been at death’s door more than once. She needs a liver transplant and she was on the list.

I had to take charge of scheduling her morning meds and be sure to check her cognitive ability each morning. I learned a lot about myself and I was pleased to be able to do it.

Kathy’s numbers have been so good for so long now that last week the doctors took her off the transplant list.

We still need to watch her meds carefully and keep her there, and eventually she’ll need a new liver……but it will likely be a while.

Jason, don’t let something like that hold you back.

God has been very good to us. That sunset photo was taken on our honeymoon which was delayed for three years. A little patience and we finally found the chance.
