I'll stick with my #1 218 just as it is.
I've got 3 or 400 cases and a couple loads it really likes.

Cooper has been sold apparently and will be moving to Arkansas. You can tell the article is a bit dated because he assumes you can easily buy factory .218 Bee ammo. I had a Browning 65 in Bee and stupidly sold it years ago.

Think I have some Mashburn Bee cases somewhere. Used to go to Mashburns gun store now and then.

Sounds like a fun cartridge. I would bet that recoil is practically nonexistant.

The regular Bee is a wonderful cartridge that has enough neck to be a nice cast bullet platform. And with Lil' Gun I'd bet you can get a regular Bee to beat the velocity those Mashburns get with their case full of 4198. The Mashburn is cute though!

My Bee prefers 4227. I need to try CFEBLK, seems that is a good powder in the Bee. Like to try it in the 25-20 also. As well as 1680.

The article was from 2009. It doesn't seem like that long ago but its 14 years ago...
