Well lookee what I found

Post by Bill in Oregon »

I had forgotten I had one of Paco's Accurizer tools, a Phase 4 -- got it from him in August of 2012. I remember using it right at first and then it must have gotten stuck in with other stuff and I forgot about it. For the good of the order, here are photos of the tool and the instructions. I hope there is a copy in the Library of Congress!

Cool!

I haven't had mine out in years. I've planning on shooting all of my .22s this summer and how they shoot and with what. Just might have to play with that neat little tool again.

I'd like to try one of those out, I've got 5 or 6 different 22s and it would be interesting to try different diameters in each one to see what each liked.

I use mine all the time. Bought a cheap arbor press to keep things consistent. It makes a real difference with my Contender barrel and CZ 452 in terms of accuracy and the audible difference of how the nasti-nose hits game has to be heard to be believed. Might not matter when head shooting squirrels but it sure does when whacking raccoons and quill pigs.

Interesting, I got mine around the same time and didn't get an instruction sheet. I think that I just went with what I remembered from Jeff Quinn's review along with some trial and error. Just used it yesterday on a handful of Federal Auto Match for the Single Six.

I've been meaning to get one of the Reeder flat face tools to go along with it, I think that flat nosing before cupping the point with the Paco tool might be a winner.
