John Taffin had nothing but GOOD to say about the new 336 Classic.

MSRP is US $1239.00. Wonder what the "street price" will be?....
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

More than that, for awhile.
It will take a bit for the "must have it nows" to be sated.
Hopefully not as long as the 1895 took

I think that pattern is changing for the better. When they released the 1895 Trapper, it didn't take long and I was seeing other friends online scoring them for MSRP and in a couple cases a little under MSRP.

When it all settles down ,"IF". they look like that one on the shelf they will sell. In the states that only allow straight wall cartridge's when the Marlin in available in the 360 Buck hammer it should easily replace the 350 legend. Remington will flood the stores with ammo.

They can keep their new buck hammer legend.
Chamber it in this old school legend.

Yep, I agree with the 38-55.....but until some Gun writer can convince the companies to bring back out a 38-55 rifle in mass quantities We will never have ammo anywhere around here. If they did get any 38-55 ammo it would be $100 a box.
The 360 ammo will be prolly $35.00 a box. just like the 350 legend is now.

I would like a .357 Magnum levergun, but a few things must come first. I don't live in a State where straight wall cartridges are required. I can use my old 30-30, or a bolt action in .30-06 if I choose. If someone lives in one of those States, hope you get one of those new cartridges and do well with it. I have nothing against them, but my State doesn't require them.
