It IS fascinating how deer antlers grow out the same pattern individually each year. We have shed from the same deer over several years and right and left each have the same time pattern and unique features year after year...

What science needs to do is bio engineer deer to be nothing but backstraps and jerky on the hoof! 
So is Boone & Crocket / Pope & Young going to have a minimum for antlered mice? Kangaroo rat crossed with mule deer? Prarie dog / pronghorn?
