Fire forming brass day

Post by marlinman93 »

I try not to do things intentionally that annoy my wife. So when I know something is going to do so, I wait until she's gone! :) Every Wed. she spends the day with our oldest granddaughter, so today was fire forming brass day!
I had 50 cases that I turned down the web and rim diameters on. They started life as .32 Win. Spl. for my .35 Maynard rolling Block. I primed the cases, and set the powder measure for 8 grs. of Unique, and charged them all. Then filled them with filler, and put a wax wad over the top. Fired them all into an old rag to muffle the report, and then deprimed them.
I'll donate one case to building the chamber guide for the breech seater tool I'm making for the Darr Roller.

Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Be careful, AJ. When Momma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy!
That reminds me of a time when my Step-Mother told my Dad one morning "I don't like you, I love you, but I don't like you"! My Dad steered clear of her THAT day!

I doubt we'd be married 44 years if I intentionally annoyed my wife. I can do that without trying.
