The artist omitted the rope tied to the tips of the antlers to turn them forward and stretch the neck out that way...

I saw an article earlier about that Montana senator getting suspended from Twitter over an antelope hunt picture, which they called an elk in the next paragraph, so... I'm thinking maybe it's one of those elk-antelope critters, an elkelope, or a wapitilope.

Usually the bulls have lost their antlers by the time the fawns are that apparent age, haven't they? Something just looks too much like fantasy of someone who has never seen them other than in pictures on the internet.
