UPDATED: Powder available locally Feb 02/23

Post by Bruce in WV »

A small local gun shop has received a powder shipment that includes a number of useful levergun choices.
They DO NOT ship, it is in store pick up only. I hesitate to post their info because some internet users can be abusive to merchants who will not bend their rules for them.

The store is near the MD/WV state line, a few miles off I-81. PM me for additional info if you wish to come here to shop.

How are the prices? Not that I'd drive cross country, but for people who might be close enough to go there?

No primers. I bought some basics today: this is what I paid. The shelves are not stocked deep. Its pretty much what you see.

Further down I-81, a little south of Winchester, VA, is Miller’s Ace Hardware, in Stephens City. I was in there this morning. They are very well stocked in powder, primers (except for large rifle), brass, bullets, and ammo. Prices were high, but not exorbitant.
I don’t know about anyplace else in the area, but this is a very good sign.
