OT- quick ? 1911 magazines

Quick off topic question- are the magazines the same for a 1911 Colt 10mm & 45 ACP? I mean, do you need to have 10mm magazines AND 45ACP magazines or will either work for the other?

They are different (caliber specific). My catalog shows them with different stock numbers.

Relay my last, I've answered my own question.
No, there're not interchangeable. The 10mm will load in the 45 ACP magazine but the 45 ACP ammo will not load in the 10mm magazine. A 45 ACP magazine may work for 10mm ammo but the cartridge isn't as supported and in a 10mm magazine.

Bought some Wilson Combat magazines for my Delta Elite 10 Auto. They work perfect with 45 ACP ammo! But the Wilson Combat magazines for 45 ACP will not work with 10 Auto ammo.
