Cool!

I have one that my dad gave me for my 50th birthday. He bought it around 1960 or so, dates to 1954 if I remember right. It hasn't had a lot of use, and I haven't spent much time reloading for it. Probably should do something about that. :D

Got the perfect target for your point of aim!
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Excellent, mine is nearly the same vintage.

Hard to beat a well tuned and well taken care of M94!

Blaine: good shooting; very good shooting! I envy you for being able to see and use barrel sights and still hit the target
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

That was at least ten years ago....I doubt my eyes would be that flexible these days.... Peeps and ghost rings are still ok. Red dots even better. :(

Every time we've gone shooting, you've kicked my keister even with my own shooters. 8) I think your daughter shot better than both of us.

Nice shooting for sure! took a 94 AE with a scope on it for a 50 pack of ammo, it was fun cause i could really
put them in a nice group, then i started on one with with barrel sights, that would not score very well

i wouldn't say that. comparing the two targets, i'd say they're about the same, you are twice as far away, same same.

hard to outshoot my kids tho :)
