GK won!!!!!! Let Old Savage give you his signed picture of Glen Campbell……..why is the “p” silent in his name?

The heat is on and so is the AC.

I opened a newly purchased gallon of milk yesterday and it was curdled…..so I poured it into the fox/cat bowl which held exactly one gallon……this morning there’s only a quart left…..even the song birds were gathered on the bowls rim taking a drink. Looking at it now, in the heat, the birds will be “taking bites”…

I rarely take anything back to any store unless it’s worth more than $20-30……I just won’t shop there anymore………

For the third time this year mom’s debit card was hacked and in each case they got nothing except $1. Yea, they be sis’es and bro’s….they buy something for $1 and if it goes through then they hit ‘em for (in this case) $475 from a pay center in Los Angeles…….they tried 3 times.

Costco is without a doubt the best store to shop in…..you HAVE to be a member which requires ID and your checked upon entering and everyone is stopped when leaving the store while your receipt is checked against the contents………and I must say, the store is very white and decently dressed inside……and “they” wonder why “they” are singled out with suspicion.

You'd run outta places to shop here in pretty short order.

Well my new head pipe showed up for my trail bike today. All the other hardware had come the first of the week.
Now mind you, there was nothing wrong with the one on it, other than it had baked on mud and a few rust spots. Brand new factory head pipe was 35 bucks. No Brainer.
Looks way better now.
After that I cranked up the Harley and took a ride. Believe you me, there ain't NOTHING that looks nasty or rusty on that sucker! :D

THE ONLY THING RUSSIA HAS TO DO FOR WW3 IS TO NOTIFY ITS CITIZENS AND MOVE THEM INTO UNDERGROUND BUNKERS! THEY ARE READY FOR EVERYTHING ELSE, INCLUDING RESPONSE! IF you haven't gotten ready by now, you are sol! The only ones you have to blame for all this is D.C.!

Hey 1894 fan….welcome to the thread of Black Sheep……..over here, when we talk Winchesters & Colts we talk up there with the wisdom of Madis, Kopec and Wilson…….

Yes, good point. I believe the entire world is ready and it’s due to overpopulation. Back in the day there were countless and ongoing wars, along with the Black Death, high infant mortality rates, bad water……blah blah blah……probably (without researching) this kept everything under control until the Industrial Revolution which produced so much $ that inventions started making people live longer.

It was semi common for people to die from tooth abscesses and lead poisoning from lead going around 1,000 f.p.s. And those idiots in China, India, Pakistan and other s hole countries keep on producing low grade people to this day……worthless parasites.

Don’t concern yourself. It’ll wipe out near 75% of the population and it’s all beyond our control.——-006

Well, the bulldozers just left and now they are pouring the concrete for the bunker in anticipation of the Russian invasion as per 1894cfan’s warning……whew! Sure glad we got someone on the board who’s “in the know”…..Got the pellet gun pumped up 10 times and have four cases of tofu along with a sizable amount of Starbucks coffee in pink cups. Dyed my hair purple to throw people off.

Yea bro………what is it with some people??……spending their entire lives in LEFT field?

OK, you man the sling shots and I’ll handle the pellet guns….(sling shots=multiple projectiles from sawed off shotguns……..pellet gun=BAR with a binary trigger….

Now, on to niceties…….dude, it’s so hot and humid here I thought I was in a Roman bath with hoes from Pompeii and the bouncers from Cornville……….

Just came back from Costco….I love that store like Billy Ray Cyrus loves his bar….——006.(secret agent who can’t tell his wife where he’s at.)……….Steve from Colorado…:D

“Headed to work”….you lucky dog!!!!! Ahhhh, be grateful you have a solid job with lots of seniority which equals security…..your not busting balls and are working in a clean environment and a buddy to share the ride with…..you got it good…..so good, it’s almost as good as me……bringing home the same take home money and getting up somewhere in the vicinity of noon…..and then laughing at undesirables and other people who have disabilities….:D oh Lordy, don’t believe that..I have disabilities and always did…..I just don’t talk about it……:D….never air your dirty laundry…….keeping them all guessing helps when your “tightening the screws”.

Man! It’s going to be a MAJOR MESS this Sunday in da hood…little kids walking around going up to adults and asking, “you be my daddy?” :D

Cause...as has been pointed out to me, I'm "politically stupid".

Kind of ironic that I post mostly in the politics forum. But, as I recall, we were exiled here.

It does not matter. On this thread Jay (Old Win.) gave me the permission to make things up as I see fit……..over here, we are the KGB of Leverguns. Vladimir Savage (Old Savage) is the Putin of the board……

Besides, nukes are “old school” weapons. The new weapon of choice will be an updated version of Covid 19

Anybody want this before I take it to the auction house. It’s the highest condition SRC I’ve ever had…..it’s a 20’s gun (1927) when the hardened surfaces would flake off. The gun is still tight with very little sign of wear. The wood is phenomenal, mint insides…..I mean mint. It’s a good guess it’s never been hunted with ……30 WCF….

Yes Jay……..they needed to get rid of us as we made the rest of them look bad…like, really bad. Anyone who has faith in a Rossi is just a novice……I hear it all the time…”my Rossi shoots and feeds great but they left out that they only fired 5 rounds and put it away.

Hey, check this out…It’s a picture from the Rossi factory. The story is that somewhere in that pile of whatever it is there’s a Rossi that has been certified to feed cartridges from the magazine aaalllllll the way to the chamber. The only known example…… no mention of it shooting.

That’s the uniqueness of this thread…….theres NO rules……there’s only a few things we don’t discuss and that is mainly cheap imported guns like Rossi’s, Ubertis, Taurus, and other cheap pot metal guns like Ravens, Bersa’s , plastic Kel Tec’s,

We also don’t tolerate, nor accept people who have Muslim names. They will be ignored until they take the rag off their head.

If you like original Winchesters, Marlins, early Rugers, Colt Single Action Army’s, N frame Smiths, or any Smith & Wesson or Colt (I don’t like to drop the “Y” and add on “ies” as in “Army’s vs Armies”.

It’s also a big help if you come from a red state and like to fix things, do blue collar stuff and drive Jeeps, burn wood to heat the house, pass gas,

You’re allowed to super brag on fine quality guns…….the way I see it, if celebrities can be swooned over their million dollar mansions, we little people can brag too…..

Tell us about yourself……you have a nice handle. Our leader is Old Savage…he’s a bit uppity, being a doctor and all, living in Kalifornia with his own private golf course and swimming pool, but ya know, we all need someone to handle the things that take brains….—-006

As a pre-Father's Day surprise, Amy took me on a ride up the Sandia Peak Tram to the fancy restaurant on top of the mountain (10,300') for a nice lunch. We hiked around for a little while waiting for the resaurant to open and then enjoyed a nice lunch.

Got a '77 Win 94 that came out of a crashed airplane via my Dad who salvaged it and had it rebuilt (the 94, not the plane), '77 marlin 39a, '48 39a, '82 1894cs with ballard riffling. The main fodder for the 39a's these days is CCI CB/Quiet stuff for squirrels, rabbits and ravens! At one time I even nailed a raccoon with a CB short after using a Hanned Line tool on it to flatten the nose, dropped it with one shot to the heart!
Does that qualify?

Hey Walt, that looks like a big ole time to me! Good for you, man!

1894,
Sounds good to me. I'm a sucker for a good project Winchester. Every time.
I did a bunch of work on a post 64 made in 68 that my uncle had. It turned out good and makes a great Jeep rifle. I've shot a nice 8 pointer and a coyote with it. It's actually a great shooter, and will outgroup a couple of my pre 64 examples. Ole Six gives me heat but I don't care. :D
I have fun with it. I have a pile of old ones, but I don't have to worry so much about this one.
We need some pics.

Dang…..that Walt guy robbed the cradle. Nice A in the second picture…..:D….yea, she will like you telling her that. For real, she takes good care of herself and good for her. Most women, AFTER all of the legal documents are signed and the house is paid for go back to what is natural….eat and take it easy.

Walt…Amy is gonna have some competition from Jays wife…..she’s also a hottie……mine used to be…..

Nice pics and as we all know, pictures never do justice vs being there.

Did you hear about the wife who asked her husband for 10g’s for breast implants? He told her’ “just rub toilet paper between your breasts.” So she did this diligently for 6 months with no results so she asked her husband what gave him that idea. He said, “you have been rubbing toilet paper between the crack of your A for 20 years and look how big that got.

Nice easy day for me doing some fixin’ and upgrades around the homestead. As usual, took the dogs for their evening walk.

I watched some car pull in the driveway earlier and when the person in that car saw the signs, they backed out and down the road they went. ZERO tolerance for nosey people or people with malicious intent.

Sorry Old Win, I don't do pics much. Don't want to give the Feds a reason to raid me, now or later! The 39a's and 1894c are run of the mill, but that Win 94 30/30? The stocks are a WOW! They didn't look like much when I got it from my Dad when he passed, but when I refinished the fore stock and butt stock, WOW! The fore stock doesn't look like much being two tone, but the buttstock really glows!

BTW, may not post very often, but will check in from time to time. :)

No problem, I get it.
That one my uncle had was the same way. It was just cheap hardwood and had this 2 micron thin clear varnish on it that was flaking off. I stripped it, gave it a coat if leather dye, then Tru-oiled it a few times. It looks a hundred times better now.

Hey Walt,
You better watch it! Ole Six is eyeing your lady! :D

Now, on me being the leader, as Six knows if that were the case I would straighten out this rules misconception and rein him in like the old days. But that was only to keep the whole thread from being deleted as happened a couple times before. But there was a lot behind the scenes that only gk knew about and much we didn’t. But there is a new owner/sheriff now so it can appear as Six presents.

Don’t be surprised if that changes but gk and I not involved now. And fine and dandy about that.

$20 min wage really working out for BK at Sat lunch. Three employees and one on break here.

Hey!!!!…..Hey!!!!……..sheep?????……..you’d be surprised how “sheep dogs” will turn into sheep once the food is limited, their accounts frozen, (Canadian truckers) no gasoline, no peace, or other “comforts of living”…………..it’s a solid hypothesis that 85% will cave to Marxism.

THATS why rednecking is so important…….fix yo own S….take care of all things without making a phone call….do yo own heating and cooling, provide yo own transportation (short trips, maybe 1 mile,….sheeeeeeettttt bro………I’ve lived that way pretty much most of my life, first, out of necessity then I found out I sleep better at night knowing I don’t need anyone…….i guess it would be a bit challenging to do my own heart transplant or fix a brain hemorrhage but heck, we are all gonna die somehow……..

I have performed a penile transplant on myself but because I’m color blind I chose the wrong color and now I have a roll of tarpaper in my pants.

I even have a machine that makes $3 bills.

What? You didn’t like the parody of “a roll of tarpaper?” When I first heard that a long time ago I couldn’t stop laughing but because my buddy Tommy said it, I needed to put my own spin on it so I came up with “yea, the thing looks like a radiator hose from a 1958 Pontiac”

For those old enough to remember the old cars, they would have 3 to 4 core radiators with hoses that were as big as a roll of tarpaper.:D

Turn on the news…..MASS CHAOS in the inner cities, specifically in ‘da hood”. There’s little kids wandering around everywhere and going up to adults asking, “are you my daddy?”

First I'd put the Borax and sugar to the woodpile. Had a bunch of ants in it.
Then I figured I'd go down and mow "the clearing" d9wn by the stream.
Then go back and get the tractor to do some ditching work and a little work by the bridge.
Then maybe take a walk and check my trails.

The reality....
I got the Borax and sugar out for the ants.

I got everything mowed at the clearing and the approach to the stream.

Looks like instead of a bike ride tomorrow, I'll be back at camp. Still a pretty good day.

Dang Jay…that looks nice! Did you cut the grass yourself with that push mower or did you hire a Mexican to do it? It looks so nice that there’s a chance that there will be 20 tents set up the next time you cruise in there. All these little Mexicans planting little gardens of beans and hot peppers, using up your toilet paper, and using the cabin for a baby nursery. You tell them to get out and they will have squatters rights……that’s when you call me and I’ll drop by with binary trigger equipped AR’s.

That S does happen but luckily you ain’t no pushover.

Really cool digs dude……..don’t do it all too fast as when the work is done, your direction is diminished and boredom steps in. I HATE it when a complicated and challenging project is finished. The adrenaline stops. I ALWAYS have to keep something going on.

What’s the greatest distance you can get in the clearing? 50 meters? …..or you could clear out a bit to 75 meters, build a hump of dirt, not wood, for a makeshift range that enables you to see the bullet strikes.

Next time you think about it and have the time, get your phone or a gps and get me the coordinates so I can Google Earth it. I enjoy that stuff. About 10 years ago I was explaining to Gunny on how to get to our camping spot out in Colorado……he was going there with another guy, I didn’t want to go as I knew it was nothing more than a money saver for him….anyway, I got the coordinates from Google and gave it to him…….15 miles from the nearest normal hard road with a few turns……he drove right to it.

See what I mean about getting old…….we old people live in the past……it’s always, “I remember when” never, “guess what I’m going to do”.

I can get 100yds at camp by using the trail down past camp. I have target stands and my portable bench up there. I can get 75yds from inside the camp if I want to set up and shoot from inside the camp.
Down to the clearing, I can get between 50 and 75yds within the clearing. If I incorporate the road from the clearing to the stream, I can get over a 100yds.
The clearing is grassed in nice now. I've been waiting so I could mow it. I have a pile of bricks down there so I can make a fire pit. It would be a beautiful camping spot for a tent or whatever. Just a nice spot. The oldest boy recently got engaged and they are thinking of getting married there.
Now, when you look at it on Google Earth or maps, it won't look the same, as it hasn't been updated in some time. I love being in the boonies. :D

The heat is on..90 now….

My wife’s niece, the one with all of the Frenchi’s……..she got married in her parents barn…..there was even a tap in there run by the caterers and that’s why I spent a lot of time……..and then there was this half acre tent with 3 bars and a dance floor……I had a heck of a time dancing with my Redwings on.

If your boy does get married there make sure you pick up a fresh can of black spray paint for his boots……

Yea…me and Jay….we be rednecks!

No Walt…..Jay once went to a wedding where the groom spray painted his work boots…….let Jay tell ya the whole story.

I’ve done it myself. One time I had a pair of those cheap black jungle boots….(I almost always exclusively wear Redwings for work and Danners for the outdoors and they are the American made ones as both companies also make them in China)………anyway, after many days digging out in the swamp the boots were nearly just leather colored along with the black canvas sides so I painted them. Liked it so much I started spray painting about everything around here. I have this 1873 made in 1891 that’s about new and a buddy was drooling over it when he picked out a small blemish on the receiver so I painted the whole thing neon green. (Brush on with sand so it won’t slip out of my hands.)

Hey Jay,,,,,is this it? I blacked out the co-ord.

Yup. That's it.

Haha yeah, the boots.
My buddy that I roomed with at tech school was from North Anson. He was from one of the rougher families in a pretty hick, one crossroad "town". He had two "sisters", and boy let me tell ya, they were both rough and stupid.
The one getting married was the better looking of the two, but didn't have any teeth. Hand to God!
Anyway, the guy she was marrying was a real winner, and after he rented the tux, there was no way he was paying to rent shoes, so he spray painted these old worn out work boots. Thing is, he didn't even cover them. The tan leather still shown through.

These two sisters lived all one winter in a camp up to Moxie lake, above the forks. Let me tell you, they have winter there boys. Now, I've been in this camp. It's just an old log trappers cabin you could throw a cat through with a bulldog stove and a couple bunks. Nothing else. All winter, they wouldn't wade through 4 feet of snow to the outhouse, or shovel a path. Instead, they dumped and pizzed in pails and cardboard boxes and threw it out in the yard. Two girls did this. Man was my buddy pizzed. It was his camp!

When his dad died, the undertaker called my buddy asking where his false teeth were. My buddy stopped at his folks place and looked all over but couldn't find em.
Yup....you guessed it. The toothless sister got there first and got her a new smile.
