Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Speaking of rodents under the hood, I used to have to park my old 4Runner outside because my 2 car garage was full of my toys so I could only park one vehicle inside (my wife has her own 2 car garage). One cold day I started it up and I could tell my blower motor was unbalanced so I stupidly turned it up to high thinking it would clear out the problem. It did not, it was much worse and I suddenly smelled a terrible odor. There was a mouse inside the squirrel cage fan and it centrifuged his little guts all over the fan, the inside of the fan housing and into the ducts. It took me quite a while to take it all apart and thoroughly wash it with bleach.
Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
This bear may be the same one that came down my driveway in July; this time he left his muddy footprints. The cap is mine, not his...just there for scale. I guess he just couldn't bear to wipe his feet.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Hey! Walt wins a page! I don’t have nothing to give him, maybe Jay does.
Good ole GK is obviously liking his new digs..good buddy…..come this Feb., we will have lived exactly here for 50 years. …and mom only moved 200 yards from the farmhouse she grew up in……..and Jay rode more miles yesterday than I did all of last year…….yea, I got a life. …but I do have and can do everything right here that fits my lifestyle which I much prefer along with the knowledge that I can do whatever I want and whenever I want to do it anywhere…..(people are always asking me, “why don’t you get out more?”) I tell them it’s because I hate being around people like you who ask too many questions…..GFY..
On to serious stuff, there’s this woman on You Tube that has a repair shop with her husband and she teaches you how to fix small engines a bit past the “dummy stuff” like anyone can change a saw blade……I have learned a lot….this morning I learned that “ethanol free gas” is not ethanol free…..it still has 3-5% ethanol in it.
I learned you can “plastic weld” with a $20 tool.
I learned how to adjust valves on a Kawasaki engine so when my Kubota Z reaches 500 hours I’ll know how to do it…
I’ve learned I’ve been right all along…keep your machinery clean after every use. Use the proper fuel and oil and use clean funnels and after funnels are clean, clean them again. I store my multitude of funnels in a sealed plastic box. Improper or lazy maintenance is the number 1 reason for breakdowns.
I learned (and I knew this) do not buy cheap tools or clones of well known manaufaturers to save $50 on a chain saw or especially guns….Ill take it to my grave that Rossi’s are j.u.n.k.
This woman’s You Tube channel is “Chickanic”…..

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
These days almost every you tube channel has to show hooters in order to get people to click on them. I do love hooters but it's a "bait and switch" sorta thing that I'd prefer they would follow up on.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Yea….seems like everything is a scam today…15 phone calls a day with the caller ID from every city in the country…….Today, I happened to be sitting next to the phone and the phone rang with some strange lettering for a caller ID. I like to F with these people so I answered it, “OK, what the F do you want?”. …and hung up…they called back and here it was a legitimate phone call for my wife.
Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Oh man Walt! That's bad! Nasty.
Yeah, I watch YouTube quite a bit for into on stuff. Especially if it's something I gotta fix that I haven't done before. It's helpful but I kind of resent it. I used to fix stuff before YouTube. Now it's a crutch.
I got to camp today and brushed out the rest of the road. What a job. Ran the brush saw till my hands were numb. Yes, ours is an FS91R. I figured after I was done I'd go get the tractor and throw the brush in the bucket and go dump it. Went back to camp to get it but when I hit the key, instead of the fuel solenoid clicking, it made this weird whine and then nothing.
I almost brought the cables with me today. And I almost bought a solar tender last week. I ran home and got my cables and she fired right up. When I was done, it started no problem, but I brought the battery home and I'll charge it over the weekend. I'll get a tender for it. The battery is from 2018 and I hadn't started it since May.
I got the road done, but that was it.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Hey! Me ant yo’s got ze same weed whacker!,,,,,yea, yea, FS91R……50-1 but I run it a bit rich at 40-1…….on the advice from the countries best small engine expert…….Terry, the guy down the road with the tractor, lawnmower, chainsaw, everything small engine junkyard. But he don’t sell nothing unless he knows you….as usual, I have Carte-Blanche but I seldom bother him. For all of the weed whacking you do you’d be better off with a junky push mower, but you already have that figured out.
His place is like the pimple on a Playboy model’s butt. It’s so nasty it can be seen from outer space and here’s the proof. (Black circle) I’m where it says “396”
I don’t know why but I always jump off the subject on meaningless stupid stuff. I’m bored….
I don’t know why but Google Earth uses the same images from 2016 unless it’s a road view where you get the blue lines……so this picture is 8 years old…it’s now double to triple the size…..

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Wow! That's quite a boneyard! I could use a spare motor for my 240.
I thought it was the same as yours. I've been happy with it.
A little rich isn't bad, depending on your oil. However, make sure your exhaust doesn't get plugged up. It will make it run hot and burn your piston. My dad was always a "little rich" guy. I warned him about that. He burned up a Lawn Boy push mower.
Run a good quality oil. Preferably synthetic. You can go a little rich, but go easy.

Not much rain……..skipped by just to the north of us…….we only got an inch +…….grass grew another 6” and when the sun hits us tomorrow it’ll grow 2” a day…..maybe I’ll let it grow for a week and have mom’s cousin come over and bale it.
That’s all…BIG day tomorrow.
That’s all…BIG day tomorrow.

Rained here. It's cool but humid. Looks like it's gonna be decent next week. I hope so. I gotta quit riding motorcycles and get some stuff done.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
A responsible individual always puts his duties before play. I don’t feel as though I’ve earned the right to play until after the work is done because if you do it the other way around, “play” will soon be a “priority” which equates to a bum. The work will build up to the point where you say “f.i.” and the next thing ya know, old washing machines will be in the yard.
Same as money…..bills and savings first.
Now, I’m ooofffff to play and test out a new Kubota dealership down in Delaware…..some place called Burke Equipment is supposed to have every style in stock.——006 and 31/32 nds….

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Hey now, are you a responsible individual, Jay? I try hard not to be.....
Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Well....
I'm getting less responsible as time goes by. Time is what I have less of all the time. In the last few years I find I worry less about what I used to worry about all the time. Money means less and I worry less about it. It's such a lie that Ive developed a fatalistic attitude towards it. You work your butt off to get half of it, and if you manage to put some by, their gonna figure out how to get that too.
I'm going to enjoy the time I have. Keep my ability to keep what I have and offer the least opportunity for someone to take it through taxes or whatever other means they can conjure.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
You’ll find out that after you retire the realization that you will be entering the last chapter of your life puts a damper on it all. You will get impending signs of your imminent demise…….hearing loss, aches and pains, more doctors visits and the worst, most everyone you ever cared about will be dead. It’s no picnic retiring.
If you did it right yo won’t need much money after retirement. My 401 doubled under Trump and the guns I bought over the years turned out to be easy sellers which I knew…..Don’t concern yourself with your kids and guns as they are only going to sell them. Keep the overhead as low as possible. I’m taking three 86’s and some more stuff up to the auction house after the elections. It works out great..I drop them off and the check arrives 2 weeks after the auction.
How many people have we all seen that saved religiously their whole lives only to see the healthcare system suck it all up. Cash is king, Pennie’s and nickels won’t get you far but good hard loot keeps your feet on the ground. (Those are Tommy’s words)

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
I already see a difference. My health is pretty good. I'm on zero medication, but my eyes aren't what they were and I get tired easier now. Cash is great, but only as long as the overlords say it is. I have a 401k and all, but what is a dollar worth compared to 5 years ago? And, it's just a number on a computer unless I cash it out, and then you lose half plus taxes. You can get up tomorrow and cash is worthless. They decide. Use cash to get the things you can depend on. Things that will serve you and don't need to be repurchased over and over.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
The biggest mistake people make is cashing out their 401 when they retire……..I pull an x amount out every year and I pay nothing on taxes. The company that holds the 401 will withhold 20% but I get it all back after my taxes in April. The IRS goes by your income, not what you have in the bank so by keeping my definition of a “tax shelter”, which is none of the governments business and legal, only my pension, SS, interest earned on CD’s, and what I take out of my 401K counts and the amount does not meet the requirement of paying back. Our accountant tells us all kinds of stuff that we can claim. I pay no income taxes. Get a good Jewish accountant and diversify ….that, I pay for. I also tip him well.
Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Absolutely. With the CURRENT laws and tax structures. The country is bankrupt. With a stroke of a pen, you can be taxed and penalized out of a life's savings.
When we started here, my buddy and I signed up for our 401k's. He did his after taxes. I did mine before. He asked my why. I told him cause I'm only gonna get taxed on it once. They can always change a rule, and he'll pay again on it.
Just like inheritance. First, people put things in wives or kids names if they had to go in a nursing facility. Then they changed it so it had to be that way for three years or they could take it anyway. Now it's 5 years. Think they'll stop there?
They do whatever they want. They'll take whatever they want. When times are good, people get lulled into a false sense of security. Times aren't good. And they'll probably get worse.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Taxes! They suck……….with the mild of amount of loot that most Americans make, any major change with a stroke of a pen would result in mass chaos…….it has to be done slowly……I believe we are at that point now…….look at the riots in GK land….people are at or near their breaking point..
..I learned early on not to let anyone else control my destiny and is one reason I have no credit cards as that’s the same of indentured servitude………like, who would pay $3,000 for a TV when the price tag at the store says $1,500?
Nice weather today……the grass grew a foot in the last week……

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
No. They won't do anything. They would have already if they were going to. It's all talk. The working class is screwed daily by those above AND below. They just keep working. Sure, there will be riots. But it won't be the people who work and pay doing the rioting. Just like before. It'll be the the ones living off the working. And the ones above will just take more from the working to give the ones below.
Again, I'm starting to talk politics. So I will stop here.
Hopefully, I'm just politically stupid, as has been pointed out by the more intelligent. History supports my observations, however.
Nice day here too. Hopefully the week will be good. I think it's supposed to be. I have stuff to do at camp.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Jay,
No, you’re right…..it’s one of those things that we know but don’t talk about……it’s like a lawyer who is representing you…he calls the other lawyer and they talk about how to spread this out……they know the emotions are high and don’t give a f. if your near broke or not as they will get your money….doctors and dentists work the same way. Your money situation or your mental health means nothing, only money in their pocket…
Live and learn. I never figured it out until around age 60. The ones at the top are pure evil and the ones on the bottom just don’t give a F.
You have to stay up on politics, otherwise people like Susan Collin’s can become a powerful Senator.

On the Fox News website they listed Maine as the safest state in the country…..that’s why you’re so nice…….try living down here for a month and your laid back attitude will change hateful pronto. Around here there’s no problems with the locals but hoodsters are driving around here to steal, loot and rob……My nephews truck was broken into a couple of months ago, stole a Glock and his ID……surveillance video showed a big bro with a mask on….dont know why he had the mask on as they all look the same….. His driveway is as long as mine but it’s surrounded by trees.
Beautiful weather again!…..and I can’t find a 6’ wide trailer to rent.

Well, just got the deal done on the phone…didn’t even have to travel to Delaware in order to save a G on sales taxes. The dealer won’t deliver to Pa but I got to b.s. ‘en with the guy and he got a buddy to deliver it for me…….i don’t have to do nothing but wait here until Wednesday morning. How’s that for wheeling and dealing? I put my gun sales talk to work……plus, I got em to give me $1,400 off.

Nice mower buddy! Good for you. You probably weren't going to shoot those guns anyway. You will definitely mow though!
Now wait a minute! I see one good wheel there. That alone is gonna cost you 2 Rossis'.

Thanks Jay…..I figured I’d spend some money before it’s worthless. Now I got to figure how to sell the other one to help pay for it. I’m gonna put Ole Yeller out there for 65 and will take less. Tired of looking at it.
New Jersey schools are charging parents $1,050 a year to take their kids to school if they live within 2.5 miles and 2 miles for K-8 th grade. Have no idea how parents are going to juggle their jobs in order to do this, especially when Jamal and Lackaquisha usually spend three years in the second grade.

Yup. They steal it from the working people any way they can. Of course, the bums will be exempt.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
It’s always been that way..the rich stay rich and the bums complain to their politicians with no remorse…….the working man, who is usually the most honest wants to get ahead but the bum complains and the rich man complains. The rich man around here filed some kind of a lawsuit because he was mad his taxes on his newly built mansion were high, so the county gave in and had everyone’s house reevaluated and our taxes went up several hundred dollars …..then the teachers complained because they were not making enough for their 9 month work year and our taxes went up more.
Like I said earlier, the schools in NJ making the parents pay for transportation to school and WHO do you think is gonna pay?…….itll be whitey with the job…..
Whoa….do we have nice weather…low 70’s, low humidity …..slight breeze……..I think I’ll go outside and detail the Kubotas with Armorall and wax and get ready for the addition to the fleet.——00

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Nice here too. I hauled the 240 to camp and mowed the center and sides of the road in. Mowed the dorryard at camp. The pushmower we leave there won't run. Gonna bring it home and mess with it.
I still have to take the battery out of the back of the truck and put it in the 770. Last time here it was dead so I brought it home and charged it. We'll see.....may need a new one.

Yea…it’s a new headache everyday……I was weed whacking and I don’t like that Stihl. Runs good, has lots of power but I don’t like it as the Ego electric one is soooooo easy to use. The stihl blower was acting up with hard starting……probably the plug as I run the gas rich.
Look here, you and I’s be rednecks and what’s our favorite and most used tools?…….OK, I’ll tell ya…..a hammer, pliers or channel locks, sometimes a screwdriver or a coin, duct tape aaannnddd to get an engine running, ether, or in our terms, “starting fluid”. I tell ya Jay, get a paper bag and load it up with paper towels and spray a few long squirts in there and go-to-town huffing. You ever see guys who do that…….brain dead.
Man, am I in a pissy mood today, one of those “look at me wrong and I’m gonna get beat up.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
I like ours, but I'm comparing it to our old one. That thing was a ball Buster. Same with our Husky saw. The only thing I don't like about that is the cold start. I'm sure it's that Autotune.
You missed a tool on your list. Needle nose vise grips. I use those things all the time. If I have to throw a bunch of tools in a bag to go fix something without knowing what I'm getting into, they always get included. Along with a small 6" adjustable.
I have a pile of screwdrivers, like everyone else. But of all of them, I use 2 about 90% of the time. Both are Snap-On, one Phillips, and one straight. Both of them found in the road. The Phillips about 30 years ago, the straight about 25 years ago.
What? Did you think I BOUGHT Snap-On screwdrivers?
Oh! I forgot to tell you!!!!!!!
Two weeks ago, I was coming home from work on Monday morning. Ronnie didn't work so I was alone with my truck. I'm going down the interstate at 70mph and all of a sudden.........
There in the breakdown lane is an 8ft Werner step ladder!
Mister, I slammed the breaks on and got that truck pulled over! There was tires squealing, let me tell ya. I thought sure it had to be broken or it would have been gone already. I ran up to it and it was in perfect shape. Hardly even any road rash. It was brand new. I don't know how that could have happened. Jackpot! I threw that puppy in the truck and rolled it outta there.
I love finding stuff in the road like that!
That don't happen much up here. Dang hicks will fight the crows for roadkill up here. That's no lie. Guys grab it for coyote bait. When we travel out of state, I'm amazed at what I see in the road with people just flying by. There'd be guys in fist fights over it up here.
Got most of the mowing done at camp yesterday. Nice day up there yesterday. Dad ran the push mower out of gas one day last week and flushed some dirt in the carb. While I mowed with the 240 he tried to get it going. He didn't have any luck. I was just coming back in the yard and shut the tractor off. He was messing with it and it caught fire. He just said "Hey, it's on fire." I said, "No zhit! Get some water!" I got it out without any damage. We took it home with us. It's all running again.
Here's the old man taking a break with a cold one in the dooryard.

Dang bro…..you’s be livin’ high on da hog!!!! Well done..VERY WELL done on the ladder…….I would have done the same thing as THATS how I got a small extension ladder and a real nice level….theres a sharp bend in front of the house next to me and that guy in that house (my BIL) don’t know a screwdriver from an apple tree! You have more competition up your way but we have less stuff on the road as none of these college educated people don’t have trucks that stuff can fall off of……..
Good ole Pops looks relaxed sitting next to a house that’s about the same size as mine…
Mmmm…vise grips?. …what are they?…..adjustable wrench? You mean you can make them fit any

Good for you buddy! You can't take it with you. I see a YJ photo bomb too! Nice! That thing is in pretty good shape for its age.
Just got home. We had to run down to the middle kids house so Kristy could notarize something. We were gonna take the bike, but I didn't think we'd make it. They were calling for T-storms. We took the Jeep and I'm glad we did. We hit one on the way home. It dawned on me that my old Rubicon still has the original wiper blades on it.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
As Elvis would say…thank you very much!. I’ll probably sell the Z422 and get most of my money back from what I paid for it as there was a 25% increase a month after I bought it 2 years ago? I dunno, 3?
Now that there’s 3, I can call it a “fleet”, at least until I sell the older one…….if you add them all out it’s about what I’d pay for a new Jeep, but spread out over 5 years. I ain’t got no life anymore other than being a full time unpaid groundskeeper. My Rubicon Jeep is 20 years old and the yellow “Ole Yeller” Jeep is 35. Mom’s Jeep is 14. Screw vehicles, especially when you’re pretty much an old couple….stay home. BUT…we did go to Costco and mom bought a new air fryer. I took the fan out of the old one for a “breeze machine”.
Jay..you should have taken the bike and when your both all soaking wet your girl would have her high beams on. . Ain’t that somethin’ though, in our earlier years no weather affected anything and we had just of good of a time as if it was bright sunshine.
Walt…..you’ve never been in my basement, attic or a couple other rooms.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Weeee doggie! That's a whole Lotta pretty orange equipment.
Can i have it?
You know what? I'll freely admit it.....
Gettin caught in the rain ain't about getting wet. It's not even about my wife getting cold and wet.
It's about the mess it makes of my bike. That's the truth dude. I cant stand to have that old Harley dirty. Especially caught in the rain dirty.
I was out with my trail bike this afternoon. I knew there was a chance of a shower, but I didn't care. I didnt get soaked, but i caught a few sprinkles. No biggie.. That bike gets dirty. I still clean it up, but it's not as big of a job and it's not the same.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
HA! …we are both the same….more worried about our toys…..you win over me because you even put your bike ahead of Kristy! Well done fellow redneck!
I forgot how many times I’ve said to mom…..on going on a short drive to get Skoal or something….”Is it OK if I take your Jeep as my leg hurts and I don’t feel like clutching”……..mom, “ yea go ahead, I’m not going anywhere”. Well, the real reason is I had the Rubicon all waxed along with tire shine and the bumpers/trim Armoralled and it rained the night before. That’s called a “white lie”…it’s a lie but not bad.
On “not taking it with you”…….you are right especially when other people make subtle remarks about “this or that”. I’m gonna sell whatever is worth money and let them go through the junk. You may think different but today’s kids want money and could care less about sentimental items or family heirlooms……it’s either sell stuff or outlive them to be spiteful.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Haha yeah. And who knows....? I may HAVE to sell it all to survive. Never know what'll happen.
There's some that nobody will get though. I may need em!
I was over to my oldest boys place tonight. Man, he's put together some primo stuff. It's not all necessarily what I'm into, but it's REAL nice.
He is wicked smart, and probably a borderline genius (nothing to do with me). Good kid. Kid..... he's friggen 35 haha.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
That’s a good thing Jay and good for him……I’ve said it a million times, good guns are better than cash. When you say “20th century” does that mean ww2 or the exotic stuff from the last 25 years…..you tell that boy that I’m proud of him and it’s nice to see younger folk take an interest in freedom……..and yes, YOU had a lot to do with influencing him……my boy did the same as your boy and he chose AR’s and the like along with Class 3 stuff which I won’t touch….red flags, call me paranoid, but the class 3 people will be the first on the list.
I got him the very first 2 Colt 901’s in .308 to come off the production line…..serial numbers 101 and 102. The factory always leaves the first 100 numbers in limbo….they don’t make the guns, period…the numbers are just not used…. I told him to hold on to them for at least 20 years and he’d be able to sell the pair for lots of big ones but what does he do? ……sells them a year later for like a stupid 2 G’s profit.
Gotta go……people are pulling in to see the museum I started…combination wheelbarrow, Jeep, and Kubota museum.
Remember that 2 wheeled wheelbarrow that I made the pistol grip handles for and painted. it orange and black then lacqued to a bright sheen? That sucker is 40 years old and WELL used. I can only see specks of orange paint….but, it’s still tight.
Down at the hardware store they sell Rossi wheelbarrows for $9.99 but you can’t leave them in the rain…made out of cardboard.

Haha! Only GK could actually find a picture of a cardboard wheelbarrow. .
Well I got that little mower fixed. Man, what a PIA to w8rj on that thing is. Anyway....she's rolling. And it cost me nothing. That's a good fix. Kinda what started the whole 12 year odyssey with that stupid little mower. I bought it beside the road for 30 bucks. Wasn't running, but I bought it mostly for engine parts. I got it home and in an hour I had it running. I bought a battery and a blade for it, and have mowed my inlaws place with it ever since.
Oh yeah......my kid pretty much covers the whole 20th century. From WW1 on. No class 3 stuff. He has a beautiful 1903, a nice 1915 Brittish Enfield, M1, FAL's, etc. Good quality and condition.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
My motorcycle riding buddy and I usually have lunch together on Thursdays. Today we rode to Santa Fe which is about 50 miles north of here and had a great green chile cheeseburger at a little hole-in-the-wall cafe which we've been to many times. Santa Fe is a traffic nightmare. It's an ancient town, population about 90K and the streets were originally cow trails so there's no rhyme or reason to them. It's always a stressful experience on a motorcycle, much worse than in a car. We finally cleared the busy streets and took the long way back. The back roads are practically deserted and the views are outstanding. Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch is off in the distance; what's going on there now is a mystery to me. We had a great ride, rode around 135 miles but it was getting pretty hot by the time we got back.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Oh Lordy…..I needed that laugh with GK’s cardboard wheelbarrow…….couple of years ago he came up with a Rossi helicopter…..Thanks GK…….Ive have aggravation today fooling with that Ego power trimmer…….its OK, a spring got weak and won’t allow the head to fully spring out….
$30 for a mower? I was visually thinking of a push mower…..a rider? I tell ya, you can get by up your way on 25K a year…….
Walt cruised by the Zorro Ranch? Is it a “T Ranch” and if so did you see anyone there that we know? A buddy of mine was at a swanky high dollar restaurant up in Philly and who comes walking in…..the Pastor of the church across the street arm and arm with a woman…..and it wasn’t his wife. That’s why I am now a firm believer that most people ain’t worth a F.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Sounds like a nice ride Walt! Except for the city. No thanks. Gives me the Boo-Jums on a bike.
Haha ole Six busted the pastor! Nice! You probably could have gone halves on the collection after that!
Yeah, it the little RX95 rider on the far left. It ain't much, but I've got a ton of use out if it for not much cash.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Nice lineup of green and yellow, Jay. I like your shop...it looks roomy but I know that however large they are, you quickly run out of space.
Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Thanks Walt. You're right. It ain't big enough. When I took this pic, my kids Hellcat was on blocks where my wife's Grand Cherokee is supposed to go. Now, I had to fix that little mower so my Jeep could go back in. None of the tractors stay in this garage. The 770 stays at camp, I just had it home for maintenance. The rest stay in the "back garage" that is between my place and my dad's. It's an old 20x20 up off the ground with a ramp and a wood floor. We used to just use it for motorcycles and 4 wheelers. I used it as a shop when I was young. In the winter, dad keeps Old Red in there too.
