Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Yeah, I got a bunch of axes too. Keep one in every vehicle and on the 4 wheeler and tractor. Mankind's most useful tool.
Just got back from a woods ride with the Jeep. Brighton Wellington, Kingsbury, Mayfield. Checking buddies old camps and just banging around old woods roads.

That sounds cool….I like that kind of stuff, just tooling around on back roads. What? did the Maine Dept.. of Transportation build a bypass around Cornville as I noticed it wasn’t on your list.
I never made it to the Kubota dealer. That’s how some days are when you get old….F.I.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Haha yeah I wwnt through Cornville. Athens too. Its just kind of a given.
Yeah I like doing that too. It's what old Jeeps were made for. Fun with the trail bike too, but I can bring more stuff with the Jeep......and not get rained on.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
I tell ya…..California ought to renamed Burger King…….home of the whoppers…………I still don’t think women are worth the aggravation….I need this…I need that…I have to get my nails done……..My car is a year old, I want a new one……..in my next life I’m gonna marry my hand.
So…on to issues…..drive 9.7 miles to the Kubota dealer in 3 rd gear…(out of 6)……keep the r’s around 3K to help clean things up. …$227 for all 4 switches……I leave, get home all excited…………..and on every one of the 4 switches, “Made in China”……now the Nips are colluding with the Chinks. I thought Nanking straightened all that out.
Here’s the funny part……the switch that went bad?…the same one the dealer put in 3 years ago that they charged me $831 for….transportation…diagnosis….other b.s.

Sorry Fred….THATS exactly whom I’m talking about. She’s been through 15 cars while I had 3. While I still have my eighth grade lunch money, her fortune was turned into a huge pile of manure out back. No sense of a dollar.
Man, is it hot today..94 and climbing. At least it’s not as hot as it is in HRC’s head…that old cow sea hag is fuming with all of her work and sweat going to someone who never received one vote from John and Jane Doe.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
It's stupid hot here too. Says 88 on my phone. Was up to camp for awhile yesterday.
I got the "seat lift" all installed in the Jeep yesterday. Much better!
They changed the seats (and a bunch of other stuff) in the 03-06 TJs from the 97-02s. One thing was the seats. They are better seats, and hold up longer, but they lowered them an inch or so. I don't like that because I had to "reach" to see the corner of the front fender. I'm fairly tall, and it still was a reach. I put in the inch and a quarter lift and now it's like the earlier TJs. Much better!

Hey Jay…..I saw this advertisement for new cars where the guy pushes a button and gets an instant 4” of lift. Ya think maybe, ah fergit it.
Very hot and humid here too.
I have some things going on out in the barn…I’ll be up till about 3.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Yeah, there's a few vehicles that have that. I don't really understand because the biggest reason to lift a vehicle is to allow for bigger tires. You can't do that in this case because the suspension has to lower.
I tend to view it the other way. The vehicle is more "normal" in the "lifted" position. They actually make it so it will lower to increase fuel mileage.
I'm sure in order to "lift" it, it has to be in 4-low with the traction control off and you need to have a special arm band and a propeller hat. The last couple are a joke, but the rest isn't. I'm sure they make it so you can't drive normally with it lifted.
Our Rubicons do this to some degree. You can't engage the lockers unless you're in 4-low.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Mom’s sister just bought (couple of months ago) a new Jeep G Cherokee……they can lower it to get in or out. I never saw it but mom did…..
Out there in Old Savage land the beaners (you’ve seen it) have these hydraulics that lift and bounce…I saw one on TV the other day and this ‘64 Chevy Impala was going down the freeway on a 30 degree angle. I think it’s kinda cool looking but it ain’t for me or you. It’s got to be tough on the edges of tires. There must have been 10 people in the car and they were all on the drivers side.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Haha yeah. I always wondered how many nice old Impalas were ruined by those idiots. I just don't see the purpose of that.
Well.....other than so they can cruise and pick beans at the same time.
Remember that old joke?

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
I used to sell to a company that delivered milk to the grocery stores and they were always complaining that their hydraulic gear on their trucks was being stolen. The lowriders were using the equipment to make their cars lean, tilt and even jump.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
They had to steal the hydraulic….they needed money for the 10k paint job. …..probably lived in their cars. …we had a bro at work who had gold plated curb feelers on his Buick…believe he had 8 of them. He was cool though….he just had a thing for curb feelers, fuzzy dice and the entire interior was shag carpeting. He made the mistake of letting his buddy bring his 2 dogs with massive amounts of fleas on them in the car…..a week later he had to have the car fumigated and that process made it catch on fire from all of the chicken grease that was imbedded in the carpeting
No Jay…what’s the joke?
We’ve been in a thunderstorm for like 3 straight hours but hardly any rain.
Me and mom are watching you tube videos on people farting…..Megan Kelly really blasted one……the force was so powerful it blew the chair sideways.

The joke was, why do Mexicans drive low riders?
So they can cruise and pick beans at the same.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
OK, thanks Jay….never heard that probably because its “a nice clean joke”. I also have a nice clean one without vulgarity.
Did you hear about the fight in Texas between the Mexicans and the bro’s? It seems the government was giving out free cheese and the bro’s were first in line to get it which left nothing for the Mexicans………during the night the Mexicans went to where the bro’s lived and stole some of the cheese then went back to where they lived……….the Mexicans were sitting around enjoying their cheese when one remarked, “this is good cheese, I wonder what kind it is.” Another Mexican said, “It’s nacho cheese.” The other Mexican said, “how do you know that?”. The other Mexican said, “Man! Didn’t you hear the bro’s screaming when we stole their cheese, they just kept screaming, “that’s na cho cheese man!”
Off to another subject….go look at the pics Fred put up with that beauty of a brown eyed girl. In every picture they are in a different place and also in every picture Fred is standing slightly behind the girl and you don’t see his hands and THAT is why she is smiling. ……and the rest of the day, Fred refuses to wash his hands.
Whew…hot again….mid nineties…..how about this one….Kubota Z781i…..this thing is a beast….30 horsepower fuel injected……

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Thanks Doc…..I try to make everyday like that……I paid my dues and saved for the future so I can have it that way….nothing extravagant, but very comfy.
Our little dogs, Shih Tzu’s love to climb in bed with us and they have this habit of putting their backsides near my butt. When mom’s out of the room, I’ll blast one and the dogs jump straight up about 6 inches.
Where is it written that we have to “grow up”?.
I remember POTUS Trump at the podium saying, “They all say I don’t act presidential, well, how this? “ and he starts getting all stiff and lowering the tone in his voice, standing straight and rigid, adjusting his tie and saying nice things. I couldn’t stop laughing.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Hey! Were you here while we were gone? How'd you get a picture of my garage? All my Colts and Winchesters are still here. How'd you know we'd be gone this weekend? We keep that stuff quiet till we get back. You must have seen my dad coming and took off before you got in.
Just hackin'.
We had Kristy's class reunion this weekend, and did some sightseeing. Places she wanted to show me. Her childhood house was for sale. I told her not to get any ideas. I'm as far south as I'll ever go now.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Hey hey bro! I saw ALL the pics in Connecticut………BUT YOU ….avoided me and mom…..(just hackin bro) (never heard that term “hackin”.
Never been to a class reunion…only the rich and the thin go to them and beings we are fat and poor we avoid them. Two years ago was our 50th reunion and I avoided it as there’s probably only 7 people left….Mom’s cousin, who was class of 72 Homecoming Queen WAS a real deal knock out. Now’s she’s fat but still rich so maybe …fergit it……..
Me and mom just came back from a C note and a Jackson eat…..I told the gal that it was our 52nd, (for real, it is) and two other gals came over with champagne glasses filled. Along with that and two Sam Adam’s 20 ouncers and I’m a bit looped…..mom had a Bloody Mary. On the Lord, we have not had a drink in over a year and it hits hard….speaking of hard, it dont get that way anymore….youll see in due time.
You ever see those ads where bananas are put in the ground and stupid people think a banana tree will grow there? At the restaurant and after we came out there was a banana on the console of moms Jeep so I grabbed it and went out to plant it in the mulch by the door expecting people to look at it waiting for a tree to grow and here comes this bro. He grabs it and eats it!!!!
I tell ya bro, never a dull day..—-006 and 153/200ths

Congratulations Six I twice made it to double figures but but both times they ran off with someone with more money and better looking than me
Just bought a McCulloch brush cutter (can't afford a Stihl ) it should be okay for what I need and at least it's an American brand..

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Haha oh man!
Yeah, I know. I thought of that actually. But the worst driving is still ahead between there and you. If I come down, it'll be during the week. Less traffic. And I'll drive at night or early. As it was, we hit it good, and coming home was a no traffic sail through. I took a 2 hour nap, then drove 52 miles to work tonight. Glad it's only one night.
Trust me....I wouldn't go to Connecticut for anyone but my wife. Her classmates are cool though. One of her friends was counting a cash out at her table at home and a dude came up to the window. She leveled a cocked Blackhawk .357 on em. She was a riot. Most all her friends were pretty conservative.
It's like I said before. When you go around and talk to people, you find most are just like us. So why is everything the way it is? That's the 64k dollar question.
We had a good time. People got a kick out if my "accent". I told them it's everyone else that talks funny. When they hear you're from Maine, they always ask a bunch of questions.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
You do have an accent…..so do lots of people from different areas of the country…..I also have an accent but my vocabulary only consists of 4 letter words with most of them starting with F or S.
No Jay…most people are not like us..they only pretend to….we think normal and those others who claim to be normal know what normal is but they think different and won’t admit it. They are “wannabe’s of Jay and 6”. I’m not joking, many times I asked people who they voted for and they all say Trump, McCaine, Romney, Bush..etc…….no one has ever admitted they voted for a dumocrat.
Yea…….all that driving, 2 hour nap and then another 52 miles and then 12 hours worth of work! You won’t be doing that in a few more years.
Nothing going on…not much anyway. It’s so humid my shirt got wet just standing in one place while Miss Apple ran around the yard.
OK, you’re at work…go get some rest….——00

I didn't want to do it now haha! Want to save my time though. Yeah, it's some miserable in here. We hit a shower coming in with rain so hard we couldn't see. Water running right down the road.
Seems like I've been sweating for a month straight. I'm ready for some cooler weather.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Catch up on your rest last night bro? If the boss catches you just tell him you have an unbalanced buddy from Pa. that gave you the green light to sleep.
I was telling you yesterday I drank 2 beers at me and mom’s 52 year celebration…my first beer in about or over a year. The beers were 20 oz jobs………I ate a lot so I didn’t get much of a buzz… went to bed around 1:30 or 2 and woke up at 7 shaking like a leaf and couldn’t get back to sleep……Your body will not allow alcohol after a certain age. I should stayed with one beer.
I have a full day ahead of me……..everything needs to be cut and with the rain we had last week the grass is about 8” which means I’m gonna have to hook up the vacuum. ….then clean up the machinery afterwards….
I’m in “Fox News Jail” for 24 hours……the people were talking about Shaq and how it’s not normal to be 7’3” and 400 pounds……i said, “well, he’s just a big guy, how would like to be his toilet and have those 3” wide by 18” logs coming at you followed by 2 rolls of toilet paper, then having to turn on the meat grinder to flush it?
Most people laughed but one guy got mean and said the imaginary picture in his mind will stay with him for life and was uncalled for.——006

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
As Elvis would say, “thank you very much”.
I tell ya, I’m done with battery powered yard tools……..I have some semi serious money in them. The tools are great! It’s the batteries…I had 3 go bad this year as I rotate them to give them equal use. The small batteries are a buck and a half and the bigger ones are pushing 4….I went down Brandywine Hardware the other day and bought a new STIHL trimmer. Fs91 ..I think….this baby will cut down a giant sequoia tree.. 4 year warranty. ….and guess what? After taxes and a six pack of STIHL oil the bill was just under 4 or about the same price as the bigger battery for the Ego.
Don’t get me wrong, the battery stuff is very convenient, lightweight and ultra reliable but the BATTERIES! Now I’m pizzed even thinking about it…I’m so mad I’m getting in my Jeep, coming up there and stealing your old appliances you have outside in the dooryard.
The Ego blower and hedge trimmer are super duper convenient…the chainsaw and the trimmer are also good but the saw is only good for little stuff as the battery heats up and you have to let it cool down
I tell ya, I’m done with battery powered yard tools……..I have some semi serious money in them.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
I'll have to look and see what our new brush saw is. That may be the same model. It works great. I have a few hours on it now.
I keep thinking I'd like a battery chainsaw but I don't know....
Haha that's weird about the appliances!
Not in the dooryard, but I plugged one in that's been sitting in my garage for 10 years today. It took right off. I think I bought it in the early 90s. I have a dryer and a small freezer out there too!

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
A dryer in the go-rage? A freezer when 10 months out of the year the temps are below freezing?.
I just watched a one hour interview with a U.S. G.I. who was on Iwo Jima……those guys make me feel like a first class sissy…..he said one night he was in a foxhole alone and he felt a cheek against his cheek and felt the warm air coming out of his nostrils…yea…it was a jap but the jap didn’t know the G.I was there or was too weak to know the difference…….the GI jumped up and very nicely gave the Jap the contents from his M1.
What those guys went through and a.ho+#s like HRC and Kamala giving our country away with the illegals and da bro’s leading the way.
I’m hittin’ it bro…b.s.tomorrow…—%00

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
They are mostly backup appliances. The dryer has been out there since 2012. The small freezer was my wife's before we were married and is for deer meat and such.
Yeah, those guys were the real deal. A friend of the family here in town landed on Iwo. Most quiet, mild mannered guy you'd ever meet. You'd never think....
My dad had a HS teacher and football coach that was a BAR man on Iwo. He said there weren't nothing mild mannered about him. No smart mouth kid gave him any stuff. He said jump, you jumped. My dad is 83, and still has a huge amount of respect for the man.

I had a few teachers that were WW2 vets one my old science teacher was a WW1 Royal Navy vet he had loads of interesting stories.
The McCulloch brush cutter came today it's made by Husqvarna in Sweden I wanted one that was not too heavy as I'm feeling my age more and more but the little 33cc two stroke spits out plenty of power for what I want.. nice to smell gasoline again after being exiled in Somerset for over a year....

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
What is that GK..brush cutter?……is that the one that’s a heavy duty weed whacker that you walk behind? I too, like the smell of gasoline and oil mix, especially the old lead based gas.
Yesterday, I put in 7.5 hours straight with 2 twenty minute breaks all in 92-94 degree temps……I slept a straight 10 hours.
I can’t see any soldier who saw action being less that about 97…..thats at 18 in 1945. Sad, growing up most of my friends dads were vets.
We got major storms coming with some already passing through. You guys may never hear from me again, being swept out into the Atlantic, where hopefully I’ll find a log and float on over to see GK and his new brush cutter.
I got out of Fox News jail and now they are all mad at me again. Some illegal immigrant chopped off the head of his common law and I replied, “he was just trying to stay a head of the game.”

Woo! Did 115 miles of trails on the old T-Dub today. That's a lot of miles on that thing boys. Came home and cranked up the old 240 and mowed the lawn.
I wolfed down a pile of tacos and a couple cold brews for supper.
Think I'm done for the day.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
OK GK…..that’s a weed whacker in redneck terms but a sting trimmer by the people who wear ties…..you got the one with bicycle handles and the double strap. Because of the bicycle handles you can put a lawn mower wheel where the head is, start it up and keep it at a certain angle and ride it down the pub. Just stand on the guard.
Saw those pics on Facebook today Jay……mom always shows me when you post. Your only one of 3 people she has ever approved to be my pal. She’d find a reason to hate most anyone who followed me home.
AND….did you know that the state of Maine is the closest state to Africa …..3154 miles. Jay, if I see fuzzy dice and curb feelers on your Gladiator, you better run!
HEY FRED…….on the pics of the gal above…does she do commercials? I saw one of the fox website the other day who was a dead ringer for her….whoppers and all.
Geeze, we have a heck of a storm going on….dogs are wrapped our necks.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Sounds like I fooled her if she approved of me, Six.
I'm trouble for sure!
He GK,
Good looking unit. That appears to be a heavier straight shaft. The trimmer head can be replaced with a blade to cut brush. We don't use the trimmer head with ours, as we have a couple small weed whackers we use for that. Our old Stihl had the handle bars. They work good depending on how tall you are. With our new one, I opted to go with the regular hoop and grip. My biggest reason was its easier for me to operate at odd angles. Sometimes I have to roll the saw 90 degrees to saw overhanging branches.

You didn’t fool her Jay…NOBODY fools mom. I’ve never seen a person who can see straight through a person like she can. I get fooled easy on people and they know that and that’s why I’ve been f ed over so many times….i just can’t see a reason for putting on an image. I am who I am and I won’t lose no sleep if people think otherwise…good bye and don’t let the door hit yo butt.

Yeah, I did see that. That moron CEO is killing that company. What did they expect? Handing the reigns to some foreigner? The board needs to toss that thing now, or they are done.
Been toying with selling mine for a year or so and getting another big bore Enduro. But I ain't going to give it away. Maybe this won't affect the old ones as bad.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
I've been using a wheeled weedwhacker (string trimmer) for years. It has a big 4 stroke engine and it's capable of taking down redwood trees. I bought it at Sears years before they went belly up but I imagine they're still available elsewhere.

Keep it and buy another……..it’s always good to have a spare………you ain’t 25 anymore when you had to sell something to finance something else.
Wow…..Walt’s trimmer will cut down Redwoods…but mine rips right through 3,000 year old Sequoia’s. Is there a difference?
Got to run……mom’s doctor appointment today……I take the iPad with me.

Jay I have the regular hoop grip on mine and use the blade a lot more than the string, it's a McCulloch brand but made in Sweden by Husqvarna who own McCulloch.
Hard to believe that Harley Davidson would go WOKE... but I sure bet there aren't many WOKE Harley riders....

Ha….Im at the doctors and they sure are woke here as it seems like I’m the only lightbulb in the building.
Good news…another squad member gone….that 2 and 3 more to go.
With Harley going woke that’s the same as Colt or Smith going woke.
I think I’m going to get on the bandwagon and am going woke.——-00 Clevon
I can’t wait to call my son “WOKE”………and his 30 something machine is worth $25. Driving down C470 people will be giving him the finger

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Just got home. Kristy and I took the Harley to Jackman. Had some supper at Smokin' Barrels. Then we rode home. We had to wait for a mega long train at the crossing when leaving Jackman. It even stopped across the road for a while. I didn't even see the front engines, but there was one in the middle. The Canadian Pacific cuts across Maine to link New Brunswick to Quebec and the rest of Canada.
I've been all over and that is still one of my favorite roads. Rt.201 between home and Jackman is absolutely beautiful. All twisty with rock cliffs on one side, and Wyman lake and the Kennebec river on the other. Then up through the mountains by Parlin pond. It was really nice out, but a little cool. I'm not complaining.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Yea…that does sound like a nice ride……..I went for a ride today too….after coming home from taking mom to the doctor, I fired up the Kubota Z422 in the garage , pushed it half throttle and drove it to the barn. That’s the extent of my life…….
I’ve been trying to find 6” x 100’ of corrugated pipe for out back…everyone has 4” but that’s too small unless I double it up and then it will crush from the weight of the stone I have to throw on top. I finally found it at a Lowe’s but it’s a 25-30 mile drive at one of their other stores…..well, I am retired and have the time so that’s the plan. I hope that big roll fits into mom’s Jeep with the back seat folded up or I’m going to have to drive back home and get my Jeep with the trailer.
Raining crazy for 2 days and two more to go…we had 3.5” so far according to the rain gauge. It’s cool here, about 68 but very humid.

Jay I'm jealous, seeing beautiful scenery from the saddle of a motorbike is probably the best and most enjoyable way to go especially with a beautiful pillion passenger
The scenery up here is far better than what I was used to seeing down south but I bet you've got me beat on your side of the pond.
66f here and breezy.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
Thank you guys. It was a great afternoon. I hit the sack early last night. Between the two bikes, I rode 265 miles Tuesday and Wednesday. I must not be as tough as I used to be.
I remember back when I first got that Harley I rode to Caribou and back in 8 hours. It was 446 miles round trip. I only got off the bike for fuel and to get a T-shirt at the "Harley shop" in Caribou. It's a cool place way up there.
Sounds like quite a project you got going Six.
I'm glad you're in a better spot GK. I thought of you last weekend. When we were down for the wife's class reunion, we went by a car dealership that had old Land Rover series 2s lined up. There must have been a dozen. I tried to get a pic, but my phone overheated in the sun.
Hey Walt! I want to thank you for the great idea of cat or coyote scent to keep mice and squirrels out of stuff. I saw it on the tire post. Thanks. I don't have an issue, the cats keep em hammered down. My dad gets them though. I will also put some up to camp. My son has a wheeler there and we have the tractor.

You're welcome, Jay. I hope you can put it to good use.
