Came across a set of pristine .243 dies from Bair. Had never heard of them before. Turns out Bair designed the equipment and dies for Pacific back in the '60s before Hornady absorbed Pacific.
Any experience with their dies. Only $15. I may grab them just as a curiosity.
Thanks,
Scott
p.s. If I get 'em, guess I'll have to get a .243, too.
Bair stuff is good quality. I've a few die sets left from back in the day.
They were enough cheaper to catch my eye when the five bucks price difference was a couple hours pay.
I think that Bair was bought out by Pacific.
I would ttake them for fifteen bucks, if I was you.

My limited research revealed that in the '60s Mr. Bair designed and manufactured all the Pacific reloading equipment (presses, dies, etc.). Then in '67 he broke off on his own, selling the exact same line of gear under his own name for about a decade, even successfully weathering a lawsuit from Pacific. Three years later Hornady acquired Pacific.
