(Forum Member) Bulldog ???

Post by cshold »

Trying to track down Bulldog.
I can't find him in the members search section. :(
I need his fly fishing expertise.
I suddenly came into stewardship of a 1930's 9' Bamboo fly rod and single action reel in excellent condition.
Unfortunately I know next to nothing about fly fishing.

Not that one.

Sure you ain't thinking of bullard4075 from Montana, or maybe the guy from down around Bulverde... havin' a senior moment on his handle. The guy from TX was into fishin' and bicycling. Found it: used to be bulldog1935, now dbhold.

He's the one.
He must have been a very bad boy and got locked out of the forum, can't even PM him

I don't recall him being involved in any sort of dust up? Might have just had enough and moved on. Sad to see quite a few good members doing that in recent times.

Bulldog 1935 was a good member here for many years, and was not booted off the forum. He was involved in a dust up with another member over the Confederate flag and left Leverguns for good. I would say he was an expert on the rivers in Texas hill Country, and had a lot of good input here.

I found him on the Classic Fly Rod forum.
Exactly the place I need to be for the answers I'm looking for.
Thanks all for the info. & PM's 8)

Yep, this. Man, he posted some good stuff. The bicycle stuff always confused me a bit. I like them, but you have to pedal your pelosi off to get anywhere which is problematical.
