Greetings
What a fine looking friend to have along for a walk in the open air. We have always been blessed with a good dog that showed up at the right time looking for a family to lay claim on.
That is some fine photography also !

Nath, My Dad always said a dog is the only love money can buy. Glad you found each other.
I used to take a sack of live pigeons and throw them in front of my pups while they were out happy timing. Once they started the chase after the bird and were a distance away I would fire a shotgun primer only, at the start and work my way up. Never had one that didn't love the gun after they put it together birds and fun.

She needed a good home.
She has no idea about hunting and does not like guns lol
N.
If she were over here we'd call her Hillary since she has no idea about hunting and doesn't like guns!!!!! ...
That and she's ... well... a female canine... just like Hitlery.
Cute cross. Would have never thought of a Whippet/Terrier.

Nath......that is a nice single, break ( hinge ) action shotgun and at first glance I thought you had an old Savage (Model 220). I quickly realized your shotgun is similar, but has a few different lines than my old Savage does. As the others have mentioned....a fine picture and a nice companion too !

I'd be surprised if the dog didn't have some kind of hunting instinct. Will she chase if you kick up a rabbit for her? Terriers and whippets were never bred to be gun dogs, they were bred to do the dirty work all by themselves.
