GP100 4" OWB Holster Suggestions.

Post by Blackhawk »

What do you guys use for your 4" GP100's for field carry? Strong side or crossdraw? I like both. Perfer leather. Any pictures?

I've always liked a good pancake style holster with multiple slots. They ride much higher on the belt so they stay out of the way, and leaves the option of strong side or cross- draw. I use them on my 1911's, DA's and single actions.

I've got a GALCO Fletch for my 4" GP. If I wanted one without a thumb-break I'd get a Simply Rugged pancake.

Cross draw.

That one is wet molded to a Ruger Blackhawk but the same holster fits the GP(to a T)when wet molded to it.

I have a Milt Sparks PMK for my Ruger GP 100 4". Great Holster! http://www.miltsparks.com/ or maybe an El Paso Saddlery No 77 Tortilla? http://www.epsaddlery.com/c-20-strongside.aspx

I carry my 4 inch 686 in a Simply Rugged Sourdough pancake holster. That's a great holster to keep things tucked in and very comfortable. It's great for carrying is is built like your GP 100. It will last!
