Nice old tweed.
I try and wear this outfit once a year as it is very special!
Given to me by my ole' gamekeeper friend the wool was hand sheared by himself from his sheep, sent the fleeces off to Brora north east Scotland to be spun and woven into a dense tweed.
Once returned he had a local tailor whom specialised in hunting wear make this suit. It is older than me....47years!

A fine suit for a country gentleman hunter with a fine dog. The suit looks like it sure is a warm one.

An historical, sensory, and practical achievement... Pretty cool...

Beautiful, Nath ! I just love classic field/hunting wear, much to the consternation of my Son & his friends. (we all hunt deer together)
I still have my old set (jacket, pants & cap) of black/red checked Woolrich/Carter woolies - in perfect condition, except for a permanent stain or three from lure I once dripped on the outerwear.
FWIW, I too, have long become fond of haversack use, for every type of hunting.

Hmmm not sure which Brady it is. It was old when I got it. It was hanging up in a gun store I visited a dozen or more years ago!bulldog1935 wrote:too cool for this side of the pond...looking good
