Sounds like he means the "innocent" people who are commiting the crimes.
Republic. I like the sound of the word. It means people can live free, go or come, buy or sell, be drunk or sober, however they choose. Some words give you a feeling. Republic is one of those words that makes me tight in the throat . . . . Some words can give you a feeling that makes your heart warm. Republic is one of those words.

Like anyone should be surprised that a senator who actually is further left than Ted Kennedy would say something so idiotic...

I really wish America would wake up.

If someone doesn't want you to have a firearm it means he doesn't trust you.

Why would anyone want a person who doesn't trust them in power?

Imagine this.

You have just been put in charge of a group of people that frighten
you. You don't trust them and are worried what they will do at all times. What is your first move?

1.Disarm them

2.Regulate them so you know their every move.

3.Make sure you are able to render them impotent if you get nervous at the drop of a dime.

A Warden doesn't trust prisoners. Obama doesn't trust you. I shouldn't be
so hard on Barrack, this is a trait most politicians share.

The media has convinced many people that he's 'gun-friendly' and 'pro-Second Amendment' which probably means that we deserve to live in a police-state if we tolerate such news media and such politicians.

With the exception of about 10% of gun owners, we truly are a 'Nation of Cowards.'
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.
