Smart deer

Last Friday I was out at the ranger's station to get a map and as I left, I saw two does pass the office. They went trotting down to the road.

Instead of just crossing the road they stopped at the road. Then a car came and stopped for them. Then they crossed the road, and went on into the brush.
"I'll tell you what living is. You get up when you feel like it. You fry yourself some eggs. You see what kind of a day it is."
