What Santa can get me for Christmas

Post by KirkD »

If a fellow is going to dream, he might as well dream large. I would be very happy if Santa brought me #30429 or #30430 http://www.purdey.com/guns-rifles/new-guns-for-sale/ Unfortunately for me, I have high quality tastes but a clergyman's budget. :D

You are surely right. A Purdy would seem pretty empty without 'the Good Stuff'

Speaking of 'the good stuff', here is a photo of us getting our Christmas Tree, taken two days ago. It has become a family tradition that as many as are able to make it, come along to cut down our tree. This year it was my wife, my two daughters and my youngest son. In the photo below, I had been laying down under the tree cutting through it when my wife decided to shake all the snow off the tree. I got a good face wash, so I rolled out and up onto my knees and we had a good laugh. My wife is holding the tree and just behind her is my oldest daughter and my youngest son. That's the good stuff!

Kirk, it looks as though you wish for a real northwoods winter is coming true. I have spent alot of this past week chopping and shoveling about 4 inches of sleet and ice from my 60 yard long drive way out to the hard road, got done today. We are blessed by our Lord too, I had the strength to due it without a heart attack.

Yes, Jerry, the Lord has certainly blessed us with lots of snow this year. We plan to fire up the toboggan hill in the back yard any day now. It has lots of snow.

Kirk,
It's nice to see families doing things together. :D What was once the norm is now the exception. As we all know, the best accomplishments in life is the family a man nurtures and what his family thinks of him.

Material items are just that....material items. They mean little in the scheme of all things life.

You can have all the Purdy's, the W.W. Greeners, Rigbys, W.C.Scotts, Boss's, and Holland and Holland's,
But..............if you don't have all of the finest Winchesters and Colts, you ain't nothin'! :D

Nice pics and a very nice family, Kirk.------6

I can afford a scarf and a pair of gloves from the Purdey catalog !

I noticed there were no prices listed on the firearms though --- obviously one of those - "If you have to ask ......" type of deals --

Great looking family Kirk ! -- here's hoping the future of Canada is in good hands with enough young people like your's around !
