Yup, a 1887 winchester lever shotgun.

Several years ago a few new chinese made repros were imported.

I think you fellas pegged it. The photo looks a tad too early for it to be a 1901 Winchester 10 Gauge, but slightly possible.

IIRC the 1901's came with 36" barrels.

Theone in the pic looks too short.

But yeah, this should pretty much prove it's a 1887/1901 design.
The recievers are the same.

1901's had a variety of barrel lengths: i have one that is 32" and another that is 24", both appear to be factory work.
