I just finished applying for a big promotion. I've applied 2x before, each time coming closer but still no cigar. This is my best shot ever at the job.

I have just under 4 years before I could retire, with this job I just might do so. Otherwise I'll stay until I'm 60 for sure.

This new job has a lot more responsibility and a lot more potential for egg on the face. But it is something I've spent the last 24 years gaining experience to do it well.

So if you please I'll take all the help I can get.
