My Dad stopped by this morning out of the blue to give me an early birthday present.
He and his lady are heading to FL to his condo next week but wanted to give me
an early birthday present (i'll be 46 at the end of the month).
he pulled a rifle case out of the back of his Ranger and said open it.
In the case was a near perfect Pre-64 model 94 in .30-30! Not a scratch on it with just the tiniest bit of wear
on the high spots.
It dates to 1953 according to my books.
I'll take some photos tomorrow.

Got a chance to get some pictures this afternoon.
There's a little wear on the bottom of the receiver but it has to be one of the cleanest pre-'64s I've seen in a long time.
Can't wait to go shooting!

Is your Dad willing to adopt another son?
You want an older brother?
