Winchester 94 Legendary Frontiersman .38-55 Groove Diameter?
I am considering one. Anyone out there own one and have you slugged the bore? I know every rifle is a law unto its self. I am curious to learn what I can before taking the plunge. Thanks, 1886.

Bought the rifle, .380". Now to find a .381" gas check projectile. Mt. Baldy used to offer a .381". Hope they still do. 1886.

Re: Winchester 94 Legendary Frontiersman .38-55 Groove Diame
Nice Winchester im sure
I have a few molds for the 38-55, one is a Lee that puts them out at 381- 382 its not a GC
bullet, I used it in a old 94 with a bad bore it worked but it needed to be bout 385 dia
that bullet shoots very well in my Marlin CB, then when I load for more speed I use a RD mold or a old Ideal that are GC I sold the old 94 after a year of trying to make it shoot
The Marlin is sweet , But its not a Winchester
hope yours is a 10
