OT - Graphics help

Post by Old Savage »

I want to lift this gal and part of the background out of this picture so that the pillars don't show and it looks somewhat artistic. I think someone here will be able to do this.

I'm sure my wife can. If you want you can could email the real photo(original, unsized) and she could work on it.

OS -

Here you go:

Image

I left-clicked on the picture and did a "save-as". Then I pulled up the whole picture, and did a screen-copy by pressing "Alt" and "PrtSc" at the same time. I then opened up the Microsoft "Paint" application, and pasted the picture there. From that application, I could cut out most of the picture. Couldn't get all of the pillars or background removed, but did do most of it. Probably easier ways to skin the cat, but this is how I know to do it! :D

OS - If you get the jpg to someone that is good with Photoshop, you can manipulate the background, foreground, put a rifle in her hands, add Elliott S. to the mix, etc.

Thanks fellows,

Ysabel - I got that far but that leaves the pillars in the upper left. I also tried using the oval in paint but it begins to white out the second half. Why???????????? Other ideas??????

Rusty, not a problem.

Kimcook - me too but I think there is a better picture here if we get her out of the garage.

crs - what do you think, a "73" ???

Andrew - this is the picture I have - if you put it the cursor on the picture and click the blue box at the top (save this image) it will put it on your hard drive or give me the email address and I will send it.

Thanks again - I will check back for more progress and send it to the desktop artiste.
