POLITICS - Say yer prayers boys, Heller case heard today!
If any of y'all have been reticent in conversations with God, now might be a time to end that pattern.
Say a prayer to all involved, that they may have Gods guidance in deciding that the second amendment is an individual right and that the DC gun ban is unconstitutional.

I read that they're not even going to rule until late June
If SCOTUS does decide that the second Amendment only applies to militias, do you think the resulting gun bans will be incremental, or sudden?

I put zero thought into that. That's a bridge I pray we'll never have to cross.Jason_W wrote:I read that they're not even going to rule until late June

Sudden. Every City that doesn't already have a "Sullivan" law in effect has one waiting in the wings.Jason_W wrote:I read that they're not even going to rule until late June

OTOH our side also had their share of demands for repeal and affirmative possession bills in hand too.
Frankly, I'm good with it either way.

When 31 states are saying "No" you think that would have some bearing on what the people really want.Old Ironsights wrote:Sudden. Every City that doesn't already have a "Sullivan" law in effect has one waiting in the wings.Jason_W wrote:I read that they're not even going to rule until late June

No No NO! That would empower the people. And THEN WHAT? Do away with superdelegates and the electoral college? Anarchy would rule if the government didn't protect us from ourselves.Jason_W wrote:

Even the State of Washington on the left coast signed on as friend of the court on this one.......Washington's Gun Rights are more strongly written than the Second Amendment....... Yes, let the tea party begin....it's time.
