Not trying to steal your thread, just jumping into it with both feet.

I to am interested in this device and wanting more info. before I
buy.

Here are two entries from my thread in regards to Poco’s Acu’rzr
that would be more suited on this thread.

Hopefully we both will get educated. :D

For my needs I mostly use bulk Federal or CCI CB Cap shorts. You have to try some before you realize just how hard to hit the punches. I use a wood cutting board as the base and a plastic mallet for my hammer. If you made the dish nose first (wadcutter), the next step for a Scorpion nose with post self-aligns in the dish. You can make the hollow point as the only step or add it to the dish nose. The lead bullet is trying to expand some so it grabs the tool keeping it from going back into the case. If you hit it too hard you could push it back, but it would be intentional. Just a bullet would not violate any Postal regulations but I wouldn't mention it at the service counter.

"Do you guys think it’s okay to tape the bullet to the order form and send it in a regular envelope to Paco? Or do you think the Post Office will have a baby over this?"

The purpose of putting the bullet in with your order is so that Paco can take measurements of your bore to 0.0001" (rounding to 0.001") and make sure you get the right size. Lead is soft, and squashing it around in a postal envelope (assuming it didn't cause your envelope to just shred in the mail-handling machines) would kind of defeat the purpose.

I would pack it in bubble wrap or similar, and mail it in a small box.

Hope this helps,
John

Why don't you email Paco directly. He's the gentleman that makes it.
...and I don't think he even knows it...Walks around with a half-assed grin...If he feels fear, he don't show it. Just rides into hell and back again.
