Happy New Year!

Post by Ysabel Kid »

Happy New Year fellas!

Hope that 2012 closed well for all of you, and that 2013 is even better - especially for those that faced challenges in 2012. Prayers up for you all!

Same here.

2012 was not a particularly bad year for our family. As long as everyone is reasonably healthy and getting along, there isn't much one can legitimately complain about, as far as I'm concerned (those things alone put a person ahead of some 4 billion others on Earth).

However, it was certainly depressing to see Liberty just keep slipping away, unnoticed by many, and unappreciated by many others.

Still, from reviewing history, it seems like that is the CHRONIC state of mankind. Technologies change, but the overall game is much the same. It is a 'game' that never ends, in that whenever one group achieves a 'near perfect union' of some sort, others come along to destroy it, take it over, or just pollute it with the very ideas it was created to escape.

Some of us are evidently destined to see through the scams and other drivel, and advocate for real Freedom, just as others are destined to do other things. I suppose it is no more 'futile' than assembling widgets on an assembly-line that keeps them coming day after day after day, regardless of how 'well' you put them together the day before, or how many. Defending Liberty is a lifestyle, not a project...
