I'd love to have that Savage 99 on the far left. You KNOW there has to be a story behind that gun being there!
Sincerely,

Well, it's pretty hard for me to make some of them out, so I may be wrong, but think I see Left to right:

Savage 99
Winchester 86
Winchester 94, I am really guessing on this one
Winchester 73
Winchester 94
Winchester 86
Winchester 73

I see seven leveractions

And of course a few probably spanish 7x57 mausers in there too.

I am in agreement with you. The '94 in the middle looks like it could be a 22" short rifle. I would like to add that the second guy on the left has destroyed the collectors value on that 86 by adding sling swivels! Dope--No wonder we have so many butchered guns out there. Didn't he realize that one day those guns would be worth a small fortune! :D ------------Sixgun

 You got a point, regarding that sling, but somehow, when I look into those men's faces in that picture, I doubt if the question of lowering the collector value of their guns, ever came up, as I am sure you would agree. And darn it, that was probably a Deluxe model to boot. :)

I make it seven too. I still like the Anglo; he's armed to the teeth! Check the fixed bayonet on his Mauser.

I really think it's a Winchester '73 or '76. Look at the bottom om the receiver, and you can make out the bottom of the lifter...

I think you missed the cannon. It's the one with the big hole in the middle of the picture.

If I had to guess, those are Mexican revolutionaries around the turn of the centuryish, maybe up into the 19-teens. Wonder which faction they are?

Suspect it's a '73. They had enough logigistical problems without trying to keep someone in 45-75 cartridges (not to mention the less popular '76
chamberings...).

No kidding! That picture already shows a plethora of different cartridges in use. For instance, there could be 7X57 (for sure), .44 WCF, .30 WCF, .45-70, and .303 Savage all represented. And that is just for starters!

Musta been tough being a revolutionary supply sergeant in those days!

RangeRider 7, thanks for posting that picture again. It's a classic When I was a kid I fantasized about being a gun runner/mercenary in Mexico. Country fascinated me. Managed to wander around Ciudad Juarez for a day or two about - lessee - 43 years ago without getting in trouble. On the way to Kennedy to catch a flight to El Paso then, I stopped in a gun shop and wound up with an 1894 SRC in 25-35. I paid $65.00 for it and stowed it under the front seat of my '64 Falcon wagon. Left it there for a week in the parking lot at Kennedy. Probably couldn't do that now.

Boy, did I butcher "logistical.!"

I’m kinda curious about the cannon.

Can any of you cannon buffs tell by the picture
what the bore size is? Or should the terminology
be in pounds, like a 2 pounder or 6 pounder?

Do you think it is a smooth bore or a rifled bore?

Man I sure love old pictures. :D

One of the members did the circling of the photo to point out the levers. When I found this old photo It was titled "Mexican rebels with homemade cannon, 1911".

The carriage might be homemade but that looks like a regular 19th century cast cannon. To me anyway but I'm not an expert.
Just a guess maybe a 6 pounder?
Thats a pretty cool homemade undermuzzle mounted recoil buffer too aint it!
