God is good to us ain't he.We seealot of deer and turkey on our 40 mile drive to church but our Arkansas elk are about 80 miles north west of us. Are you in north west Kansas? Thanks for the great pictures.

Actually I am a far ways from Western Kansas, MAN I HATE THAT DRIVE! The photo was taken near Ft Riley Kansas. They reintroduced ELK to Ft Riley way back in the late 80s. As you can see, it has been a success. What you cant see in the pictures is that he has about 30 cows with him.

Wow!

Those seem a little more "majestic" than the 25 anterless whitetails in the wheat field on the way to my place last night.

Nice picture. Our poor elk are up to their bellies in snow, their backbones are stickin up more too.
