Or this one
Life size meat eaters from the Heard Wildlife museum near McKinney, Texas, in their annual dino exhibit.
All the plant eaters are scale models, not life size, but they all move and make sounds. In the grey wet woods last week, the sounds and sights were strangly realistic, especially from a distance.
Here my daughter and grandson "feed" a brontosauraus female( not the current new name, but the one I learned as a kid).
Even though I "knew" these were just animated models, I kept figuring just where to place a bullet for the most effect!

For the T-Rex, I would hold for a neck/brain shot. This would be with a .50 BMG from 500yds+. I would use a 9mm with one round of ammo for backup in case he got within 100yds. 1 shot to the head should do it.
Funny you should mention this now, we just watched "The Lost World" and the 'hunter' dude had something I thought, "hey, I bet that's a four-bore" double rifle thingy.
I like challenge and excitement. I'd use a Raven 25 auto from about 3 yards away and shoot from underneath through the torso and try to hit the spine. Of course, I would use a fmj for full penetration.------Sixgun
When my son was 2 he was really, REALLY into dinosaurs. Could name most of them - using their real scientific names to boot - before he could say many other common words! The only thing he wanted to watch for about 6 months straight was "Walking with Dinosaurs".
I took him to a park like this in Florida once - one with life size dinosaur statues. He liked it better than Disney!!! (so did I - less crowds and a heck of a lot cheaper!!!)
jengel;
A .50 BMG was my first thought also - with a big guy as gun bearer. Maybe one of those new semiautos with recoil reduction and a scope - yeah, thats the ticket!

Can't say on gun/caliber, but Big, Fast and with multiple followups available.
Though the Kneecap idea does have merit...

The one that had the brain the size of a walnut was the Stegosaurs, he and the largest ones (Brontosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Diplococus) had a second brain at the hip.
The predators weren't that dumb, you'd better be ready.
