A. Pretty darn thick and gooey.
B. You can get it off of most any 5th wheel!

Re: OT greasy question for Griff
It's nothing special Joe. It's the same grease that comes in the tubes that would normally go in a handheld grease gun except the shops buy it in 35 gal barrels. Chevron makes a blue grease that is pretty close to the color of Apache blue lube. That's the grease our shop uses.

Re: OT greasy question for Griff
OK, so I read all that good stuff. But for the most part I don't know what I'm reading so I still don't know how thick and gooey it is.
No big deal.

Re: OT greasy question for Griff
I don't know that it has to be amber. That particular one was, but I think the pink stuff is used as well.

You think if I mixed it with bees wax and made bullet lube with it my targets would laugh at my sissy bullets?20cows wrote:The pink might clash with your shoes.

Re: OT greasy question for Griff
I use straight wheel bearing grease on a couple places of my single actions. But not as bullet lube. I think it would be too soft and runny.

That spec sheet said it had to get pretty hot to drip.
