OT - Leather for Ruger OA, Freedom Arms

Post by rjohns94 »

I'm looking for some nice leather for some pistols. Need your help.

The Ruger OA horse pistol. Saw an S-top holster in Dixie Gun Works, but I am looking for perhaps a Covered holster, in Russet, for the ROA.

I have a 4 1/4 inch Freedom Arms .22/.22mag combo. Would like an excellent carry holster in leather for this one. Perhaps a pancake or maybe just a high ride (to keep it from getting in the way sitting in a stand or during archery hunting.

I have a 7 1/2 inch freedom arms that is being shortened to 5 1/2. Has .454/45LC/.45 ACP cylinders. Looking for a cross draw holster for this one with 2 1/2 inch min loop.

Thanks

I know from personal experience that both El Paso Saddlery and Mernickle make fine leather holsters. I plan to try out a Simply Rugged Holster next based off reviews from this site. Look at their products and order what looks good to you!

The quality is top notch, and it is custom made, not off the shelf.
