I had a Ruger #1 in 375 H & H, I loved the round, hated the gun!! But if you don't want to pack it in the woods, and have it unload it's self you just might be happy with it!!

Edited to add: I do think they are pretty cool looking, they balance well, and they shoot like crazy...just got tired of hiking through the woods getting ready for a shot only to find out that it had decided to leave my shell some where on the trail.
Yours does look good, pretty wood.

I own over a dozen Ruger #1's and I'd be hesitant to make that statement .

Received the 1# holster with a letter of authenticity from Chuck100 today and I would say that anyone who buys one is going to be very pleased. Mine fits my Colt clone perfectly and could probably be remolded to fit almost any Ruger but I don't think I will be trying that. Chuck sent instructions with the holster of how to do that. Well made and handsome piece of leather work. Check is in the mail. Thanks!
