Gun value question

Post by dkmlever »

I have an opportunity to buy a Winchester model 100 in 308 post 64 version (it has a lever!). I already have a 88 pre 64 in 308 and really have no need for this....BUT if I can get it cheap enough I will buy it. So my question is what is the current market value on these?

I'm not a 100 guy, but a post-64 in 308 is a nice utilitarian gun in a popular caliber. You could hit GunBroker and see what some have recently fetched. A guess on my part (without pics) would be $350 ... if you're going to use it. Maybe less if it's just going to sit around. It would have to be in pretty good shape to just sit around ... for me anyway.
