Prayers sent, always seems harder to lose someone near Christmas.
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.

Had the priviledge of meeting him and owning one of his predator conversions. His handgun hunting influenced me till this day on what a sportsman truly is. Blessings to his family and may he rest in the hands of his creator.

Larry came from the "old school" and did so much to enhance our handgun sport. Some years back I wrote his company a letter asking about a prototype Colt 45 Commander that his company converted to double action and found it's way into my hands. He did not write back---he looked up my number and called me back. I remember answering the phone and the guy says, "Hi, this is Larry Kelly calling". I said, "THE Larry Kelley??" :D

Good guy who led an exciting life---RIP Larry----------------Sixgun

Prayers for his family. I remember thinking about getting a Contender years back and use one of his wildcats.

Bummer. I was just thinking about him the other day, wondering how he's doing.

As an aside- Mag-na-port is not the same company as SSK. SSK is owned by JD Jones, Larry Kellys old hunting buddy. They co-authored a book on handgun hunting several years back.
