Paco's articles sell a Marlin 1895 Cowboy

Post by MacEntyre »

A friend of mine was trying to figure out if he wanted to buy a Henry Big Boy in 44 magnum, or a straight stock Marlin in 45/70. He was impressed with the quality of my Marlin 336 Texan-wannabe. I sent him links to several of Paco's articles, and got this reply:

"Yea, I’ve ordered the Marlin Cowboy 26 inch 45/70. I was sold after reading what Paco had to say about the 45/70."

Oooh, he'll love that. Excellent choice.

The straight grip and slim furniture really make the 1895CB carry like a MUCH shorter rifle. It's one of my favorite leverguns.

Might as well face it, you're addicted to guns . . .
