Uberti1873 SPECIAL SPORTING RIFLE 24-1/4" vs Sportingversion
Does anyone know the difference between the two? Is the pistol grip shown on the Uberti website historically correct?

The sporting rifles generally had a short magazine, with the idea that a sportsman doesn't need as many round as, for example, an indian fighter. A lot of the replicas have better wood and pistol grips too.
