Another good movie - The Quick and the Dead

Post by FWiedner »

With Sam Elliott and Kate Capshaw, story by Louis Lamour.

A pilgrim settler family from PA moving west to Wyoming runs into some bad fellers and a savvy frontiersman looking for the man who killed his mother saves their bacon. Kate Capshaw is lookin' pretty good in this one.

Lotta Henry rifles gettin' used to settle the issues.

Also watched "Appaloosa" again. Danged if Jeremy Irons don't use a Winchester like he means it in the opening scene.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Louis L'Amour.
Sam Elliott.

You can't go wrong if either of those guys had a hand in making a movie.
