OT - Good day for Y2K

Post by Ysabel Kid »

Monday my son, known here as "Ysabel Kid's Kid", or more often just "Y2K", had a great night. He had his board of review with the Boy Scouts and earned his Second Class rank. At this rate, he'll earn his First Class rank before his first anniversary with the Boy Scouts. :D

Next, his patrol in the Boy Scouts voted him as their new Patrol Leader. :D :D

Then, the Troop Committee Chairman recognized him for selling miore popcorn than any other scout in the entire troop - by over 2x! :D :D :D

Yep, Monday was a good day for Y2K - and YK alike!!! 8)

It is always good to hear about a good kid who is doing something worthy of the pride his father has in him.

That boy is a chip off the old block! 'Ya done well Kid.

Of everything I did in my ill fated youth, the one item that stands out, was the Scouts, as I still use that knowledge today. (even though it took me three years to get First Class--I was a real Bart Simpson :D )
