In all the excitement of the hunt the lad probably forgot his training. In 69 I was hunting at gold lake in the sierras and a young man about 16 and blind in one eye saw a buck he moved to the edge of the ravine and aimed at the deer and stepped on some moss at the edge and fell back the 94 came straight down on the hammer and he was hit in the chest my Dad and I packed him out to the trail head for the coroner. Bad luck can visit anyone. danny
