Last May I posted this poll { viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17932 } about which look you preferred. Overwhelmingly the choice was the steel grip frames.
My problem as I related then was the "feel" of the two different choices. I liked the looks of the steel better, but the feel of the brass better.

Last weekend I had a chance to shoot it with some full house 40gr BP loads and never gave the grips a thought. Today I realized this and commented to my wife that the steel grips stay.
