OT--What to do!!

Was at the local gun emporium yesterday and looking at the levers. Saw a new 39A and got to thinking about Remington buying Marlin and wondering if some models might be dropped. The 39A being one of them.

Should I buy the thing as an investment or let someone else get it and enjoy one of the best 22's on the market. I have one from the 70's with many thousands of rounds through it. Accurate and smooth operating, m
y favorite 22!
