MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Post by J Miller »

What is this Festivus stuff? It's Christmas time. As In Christ's Birthday.

So MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

My wife and I will be spending ours here alone in Spfld with our kitties. Her nearest family is in Ft Wayne, IN, mine all over AZ and CA.

To all, stay safe and warm and don't eat too much.

Joe

Merry Christmas Joe

Festivus was from an episode of Seinfeld. Georges father invents a holiday because Christmas has become too commercialized. His saying was. "Festivus for the Rest of Us". It was funny episode.

Merry Christmas Joe. And as to the kitties, they are the easiest to please on the holidays. A little food, some water, a nice soft place to sleep, and an occassional tummy rub, and their quite happy.

deerwhacker,
Thanks, I never watched Seinfeld so I had no idea. I was taking it seriously  .

Yes, we have turkey, chicken and some ham. I plan on stuffing them so full they sleep the day away. I figure it will be quiet here tomorrow.

A Merry Christmas to all from my wife and me as well.

Nobody's traveling this way and I'm not traveling, so pretty lean on family time this holiday. It's just us for the holidays. I'm on call till Monday so I'm hoping for good will the next few days

I'm experimenting with a recipe. Seared some venison butterflies in olive oil, cut some carrots and taters to fill the cast iron skillet, then covered with canned chicken broth. Now on low to cook all, covered, till the broth reduces to a paste. We'll see how it turns out, I'll edit with the results.

Edit: Wife: "You could hurt yourself with this" I think this one is a keeper.
"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right.' Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work."
