Has anyone read this or actually used the info in it?
I'm curious since most "low buck/DiY" books and articles assume you have plenty of scrap wood, metal and the tooling to work with those item already laying around which I don't...
Thanks!

AWP:
I have this book and consider it a keeper. That said, Wayne Goddard does have a lot of materials lying around that he uses to construct some of his shop equipment. But there are a lot of very good ideas for forging or grinding blades on the cheap, and Wayne is an amazingly skilled knifemaker. I think you would find the book worthwhile and inspiring.

Thanks Bill! I'll probably end up with at least one gift card to B&N, Amazon or the like so I'll add it to my list.

Wayne Goddard's quite a character. A lot of knifemaking knowledge.
