Someone was remiss when they taught this young lady to shoot. Even though the gun in the picture is a pellet gun it is NOT the way to go.

I think her posture was the most important thing in this picture. I also think she would need a little reconstructive surgery if she shot a big magnum that way. I'm sure the photographer was distracted .

She's at least not got her finger on the trigger, which makes me wonder if she's really just using the scope to look at something, vs. preparing to shoot. I've used a scope on a gun as a spotting scope at the range, and just lay the gun on its side so the scope is easy to look through without picking up the rifle.

Anything with some recoil is going to give her membership into the half moon club. I too agree that it appears she's "scoping" something, rather than preparing to fire it.
